> go to opera mini website using a computer
> just select the generic version (both signed and unsigned worked for my wife's ch@t 335)
> download to computer's hard drive
> connect the phone thru usb port as mass storage device
> transfer or copy the downloaded jar file to the memory card of the phone
> disconnect phone and navigate to the folder you have copied the opera mini jar file into and install from there

Can anyone guide me on how to install Opera Mini 5.1 on this phone?? I have tried few times but the opera website always suggest that "Your phone dosen't meet the requirements for opera Mini 5.1".

Im using opera mini right now in replying to youusing this phone model..

After installing, scroll to the installed opera mini found in 'Games and more'..press Options. Go to 'Advanced', choose 'Connections' and set it to 'Internet'...presto! Launch opera mini ~ it can open even big web sites..

just got this cell...hours ago..
i really really loved it..
first of all it cost just INR 4,950 (New Delhi, India)
QWERTY keypad is an amazing experience.
The calender comes with inbuilt list of holidays (& they r rightly mentioned)
Wi-Fi is gr8
very light weight phone
one can do so much on the desktop...so many shortcuts..gr8 features
music & texting at once..doesnt slows the cell..
njoying the ch@t experience

aj, 28 Feb 2011hello frnd i have samsung chat335, when i download any sof... morePossibly your phone has a virus due to which this is happening. Try to run an Anti Virus (McAfee) on your phone and check. Also, download jave based softwares only on this phone. Best site to do so is m.getjar.com.

It also depends upon your phone's screen size. Usually in a phone with large screen size (IPhone, Samsung Galaxy series) you will not face this problem.
Best way to cross check this issue is to try sending a text message from another phone using the same sim card and see if there is some difference.

the phone is good with price tag for samsung wonderful chat expe. the problem with the set is poor camera quality only .secondary while using net it says memory low thats not a problem it just buz its resolution if u want phone for doing internet then go for rs 10000 or above mobiles or go for same other chinese brands.
look is aweesome everyone compliments you with this phone in your hand.
