Morone, 20 Jan 2011@jxpmack i too have this phone but i couldn't open any of... moreyou can't? is the file more than 1MB? where are you from? i was able to open a recipe book and a novel in pdf format. i did encounter an error when i tried to open an e-book that was more than 1MB.

Alamgir, 20 Jan 2011Is it true that the phone has a document viewer, please con... moreyes. i transferred thru bluetooth some pdf and doc files from my htc and the phone was able to view them. it seems though the phone is unable to view pdf files that are bigger than 1MB. the manual also says xls, ppt, and txt files are supported, but haven't tried them. there's no special app to view dox, just simply browse to the file manager and open the file. i also have just confirmed last night there is no photo or video editor, but i think it still is way better to edit pix and vids on a computer instead. the sluggishness of 2g and edge just kills your online time, might as well use wifi if you want to browse the internet. pero napapansin ko i'm enjoying using the phone even if it's my wife's. nagpapalit kami ng phone sa gabi so i get to test it. again, you get what you pay for with this phone. you can't expect a performance similar to a blackberry for this price, can you?

for some reason, the unit i got is not able to connect to facebook or twitter; it returns an error saying "no response". also, some webpages, even those that are designed for mobile access sometimes return an error saying "out of memory". the phone shuts off when out of memory instead of just emptying the cache. the cache itself is not reliable as when you go back to previous pages it loads up a fresh version instead of retrieving from cache. i was thinking ram on the phone is not enough to handle big webpages, but then again this doesn't happen when i'm connected to wifi. haven't tried youtube yet. aside from music player and fm radio, timer and stopwatch can also run in the background (hihihihi). was sad to find out phone doesn't support divx or xvid, only 3gp and mp4 are supported video formats (sayang, my porn collection is in divx). no flash lite support either. but surprise: the phone is able to view pdf, doc, ppt, txt, and xls files! instant messaging and email works fine. threaded messaging style available for viewing on "conversations". buddies list are not updated for sns, only call, email, and sms/mms history. hope they issue a firmware update later.

this phne really looks amazing,best looking machine in this range,nokia c-3 comes no whr near it,track pad ia amazing,i'm liking it much more thn my wildfire,feels as if u holdng a b b,but one prob i'm facing,whn me tryng to open orkut as full site its nt openg n shwng not enough memory?....wats d solution frnds

oh, i forgot, the speaker is great for playing music or radio. it is one of the best speakers with phones i have had.
