@dartwolf of course there are. because not all people need smartphones. sometimes simplicity and usability is more important than a very hi tech phone. plus not all people can afford to buy a smartphone

a hardware keyboard is so much easier and faster to use than touch and if you are true to business, you don't have the necessity for such a big screen

Anonymous, 04 Dec 2010samsung should come with dual sim this time. there are man... moreFriends Check Out CH@T 322. Really Cool Phone.
Bought yesterday from Nagpur, Maharashtra in Rs. 4200. Got 2GB memory card, DATA Cable, Headphone & Charger in the box.
Really Nice phone. Keeping the flow of Samsung's affordable yet effective handset range. Packs the punch of value for money. Just like Guru series.

This is a Dual Standby phone. No active standby. But as "SAGAR" told before. Call Diver feature work's fine to make it a Dual Sim Dual Active Standby Phone. That's the old school method but really great.

Other all features are just cool. Lots of feature's are included. In which, maximum are customizable. From Music to Video playback, everything is good. Screen is crisp and clear. Good experience of Audio & Video Playback. But the keyboard is compact. My big hands find it a real challenge to type fast on this handset. My right hand's thumb can press about 12 buttons at a time without any problem. But after 24 hrs, now I am feeling comfortable to type.

Initially everybody had this fascination for QWERTY phones, everybody envied Blackberry phones. Then came the cheaper phones from Nokia E series. But now the market is flooded with Chinese dual sim QWERTY pfones starting from INR1500($30), the phones don't have the 'novelty' factor anymore, scope of improving the design seems very limited in this form factor.

I currently have the Nokia C3, and although performs well, i find the keyboard too tight. Using the 'Compare' feature from this website shows the handset's width is more than C3's. it might be another choice for me if the Samsung's keyboard is nicely spaced. Other than the C3's battery capacity, I have had other Samsung cells and are close in performance, so this may be my next purchase as the 'poor' man's Blackberry.

This is basically a Nokia E-Series / C3 copy. Nokia should sue Samsung for being uncreative, unoriginal copycats.
