the only demerit i found on this phone is its bluetooth.
it is very very slow.
over all very good phone for its price.
if anyone has a budget of 5000..go for this..

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2011in chat mob d game was unsuported so which website its beat... moregoogle search "320x240 mobile java games". Click on the result with umnet.com. That's where i got most of my games. Some just dont work especially the ones greater than 650kbs in size.

once you are connected to a wifi access point or AP, here's what you should do next:
~when using the mobile's native browser:
open the browser but stop loading a page yet.
goto Options~Settings~Internet Profiles. The AP which you are currently connected should appear on the list. Once found, set it to be your internet connection profile. You can start browsing.
~when using browser applications such as Bolt and Opera mini:
once connected to a wifi AP, scroll on the browser app (don't launch it yet!). Press Options~Advanced~Connections. The AP which you are currently connected to should appear on the list. Click that access point. Launch the browser app and start browsing.
wifi tip: before connecting to any AP, refresh the list twice or thrice and try to remember which APs always appear on the list. Those APs are the closest/strongest, which gives you faster or uninterrupted connection.

I'm about to buy a new phone. I saw the previous comments regarding this phone. Is it true that after sending message or a call ends, it produces annoying sound?

am using the phone past 4 months.... good phone with.. nice battery backup.. camera clarity is above avarage... music is exllent... the phone browser is also exellent ... phone able to stream youtube videos without any problems... i havent faced any problems.... itz a better buy thaan nokia c3 .... samsung chat costs around 5500 with 2gb memmory card...

the samsung chat mobile is nice
but only screen resolution problem is there bcos it doesnt support to another mobile image
so what can i do to solve that problem

I just installed both Boltbrowser and Opera 4.3 English International! Both are okay. Will do the testing in a while and will let you know which one is better.
