Samsung exec confirms August unveiling for Galaxy Note8, US to get it in September
While there have already been rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Note8 will be made official next month, the company has now confirmed August unveiling for the phone. The confirmation came from the tech giant's president of mobile communications DJ Koh.
Specifically, Koh confirmed the handset will be unveiled by August end (rumors so far have suggested August 23 as the date). He also commented on the device's release, revealing a two-phase launch, with first phase commencing early September and including markets like US, Korea, and the UK. The second phase, he said, will take place the following month (October).
