Use a USB BLUETOOTH DONGLE they are versatile with any bluetooth handset, require no software for the phone, you can sent pics and mp3's to and from the phone,
I use this regularly,
what does everyone think of the volume of ring tone/song for this phone? do you feel its very loud/audiable?

I am planning to buy this hand set, i want to knows what are the drawbags in features it as, presently i am using nokia3650, what are the extra features it as can any one help me about this.

Hi all,
Very nice phone. I understand everything but cannot download to the phone memory through the Pim software any AAC files(the icon is not active). Downloaded through other phone I cannot play them(not supported format). I know it can play but can anybody tell if there is some difference in AAC formats, at least what converting software I must use to play AAC on my D500?

i just bought this phone, its pretty good. it didnt come with cables to connect it with my computer.. anyone know how much the cable and software will cost? and also how do i transfer mp3 from my computer to my phone! thanks heaps anyone who can help =]

i dnt know y people are comparing K700i with this phone. D500 is far better than K700i..its competitor would be K750i, but d latter has yet to be released..my old 6230 is even better than K700i..
D500 has more than twice d number of memory of K700i
D500 has better display
D500 has better design (no need to explain that)
Both phone can't assign MP3s as message tone
K700i has radio, but that's it..
If you don't need radio, go for D500..

The most awesome phone on the market right now. I use T-Mobile network in the U.S. and am able to use internet and AIM. Sometimes AIM has a hard time logging in but it does work on a consistent basis.I can access other internet sites besides just the T-Zones that T-Mobile provides.For Example, Yahoo, Google, CNN, EBAY, ESPN, Etc...

hy i by a d500 and im very disepointet because the bateri is onlain only 2 days.and olso i have proablem with signel.and wear to be a MEBER IN SAMSUNG???AND WOY IS SO HARD TO LOGIN TO INTERNET???

There is the:
D510 - Same as D500, but with transflash memory card slot. Also different design.
D600 - a 2mp camera, transflash slot, QVGA screen, video wall paper.
The D510 is comming soon, while D600 is comming at around September/ November.
I'd advise you to wait for the D600 as it will be the flagship phone for 2005/2006.

can sum1 tell me if the group assign ringtone can use those downloaded by the user..??
coz there're phones where the group assign ringtone can only use those pre-set in the samsung phones itself which is the default melody...
there's no other way 2 set ringtone downloaded by the user as group ringtone...
so does d500 has the same problem..??

Hi. I have a Samsung D410 and was thinking of upgrading to the D500 as I think this is the upgraded version of the D410. But can anyone please tell me if there is an upgrade of the D500??

someone PLEASE help me asap!!! i downloaded the usb driver and bought the cable for D500. however sfter installing the downloaded driver, i don't know how to send mp3 files frm my laptop to my phone!! i just wasted my money!! someone please help me!! thank u so much!!!

someone please reply me!!! i bought the d500 with a usb cable. and i downloaded plus installed the usb driver frm the samsung webby, yet i cant seem to bring mp3 files to my phone!!! i don't know how to!!!! can someone please please enlighten me!!!!!!!

Firsty i wanna ask dis fella SHAI u say u have d500 n k700i?u mention dat both fon can use mp3 as msg tone?i dun tink so..btw if it really works plz do tell me=)allrite i need to ask u guys bt this..when i edit my pic wif frames n once i saved it the picture could not be like original=( it means da frames will automatically stick wif da whole pic..?i could not do anithin to get my original pic bek..ani ideas?n when i received image(ex pictures taken by other fon) send through bluetooth da image will be automatically saved into download images..if there ani possible way to change da default setting so it could have straight saved to photos or my photos..?ani comments i appreaciate it lots..thx!

Comparing to D500, any Nokia sucks hard. A definate must-have. The only minus which I've noticed is that you can't set a ringing tone together with a vibrator. The only option is to feel the vibration first and only after listen to the ringtone.
