I love this phone. i got it 2 days ago. I have nothing to complain.
Well, actually i'm wondering about 1 thing. Yesterday, the batttery went out around 7pm, even though i didn't talk that much. Is it becuase i didn't let the phone charge for full 10 hours?
And also, where can i download the supported software for the phone?
Beside that, I love this phone. All features are great. Esp. the camera and MP3 player

Silent mode is pressing and holding the # key.
Aside from that...
I just recently got this phone and i'm quite happy with it. I must admit the camera is a bit slow when working with the high resolution, but still, no complaints, I got it for 149€ (roughly the same in dollars)... so it was quite a bargain.

i think the samsung d500 is the best fone that has been out ever!! i have just purchased one my self it is a great mobile phone i recommend it

i am very dissapointed with this phones screen!! It says 256K colors, but my old Motorola V525 looks better brighter crispy in colors!! all the Moto V 300 and V500 are better!!
What has happened to Samsung???

i just bought it online this morning since it my b day tommoz, reviews seem overall gd, should be beta than my crappy n-gage qd, it just couldn't keep up with the origional. i think the reason so many people are buying it is its 6 months old, so the price is coming way down, from 300 quid to only 230.

Well if it comes to the comparison between N6230i & Sam D500, i'm not a big fan of 6230i, it's stupid to buy a non symbian nokia phone, it has more advantages than D500 as the FM radio and expandable memory, but the D500 is more stylish and has better MP3 player and definately a better camera (flash included), after all it's ur choice but for me i'd go for D500

This phone is great apart from two things. The battery life is rubbish, and the text functionality is also poor. It's such an effort texting, no where near as well designed as my old Nokia was in that respect. The menus on the phone are just difficult to use in general.

I have the D500 and i must say i completely happy with this product. I once would only buy a nokia and i updated everytime a new one came out now its just too frequent get the top model next day theres something better. With this samsung i have yet to see a competitor with the same features. I am happy with it and i recommend it to anyone.

Hi I have downloaded an MP3 to my d500 and added it to my play list however, when i try to play the mp3 it states "not supported content". How do I fix this so I can listen to it?
