bluejacking is harmless and you can hide your bluetooth so others can not detect it or you can switch it off completley. I am seriously thinking of getting the D500 after loosing my T610 on a train.

i have just ordered my d500 and i am really looking forward to recieving it.i have been told you can search other peoples handsets via bluetooth only with the d5oo and it is bein referred to as bluejacking?is this true?i am very curious to find out how that would work?

Ive always been a Nokia fan but Samsung have really improved in their phones recently. Is the D500 a decent alternative to a Nokia phone in terms of features, compatability, ease of use, etc?

ive just sold my 7610,ive been a nokia fan forever.i bought a d500! best fone in the world! everthing works so amazingly well!! best fone EVER!! il neva go back to nokia!! samsung rules!! if you thinking of buying this phone! dont think twice! buy it! you will never look back!

I hve this phone and is the worst thing on earth the screen broke in my pocket by it self and I send it to wqarranty and they say that the could not fix it. Samsung you are terrible

ok. I have kinda figured out what a mmf ringtone is. Do you need bluetooth to get the ringtone from your computer into the phone?
Please help me....I have no idea, and I am really interested in getting this phone but I want to know if I can get it to ring and vibrate at the same time.

Hello, İ need to know that if samsung "vibrates" during a ringtone.
And does it also vibrates during an "mp3 ringtone" ? This info will be critic to my decision. :) Thank you...

been trying to decide about this phone for a while, always been a nokia fan and swore that i'd never change, but after reading this site and reviews i thought that i'd give it a go. A 1.3m pix camera,bluetooth, 262k screen and an easy menu(important) this phone has it all. choose this phone you wont be dissapointed.

if you want to ring and the vibrate at the same time
just find a mmf ringtone with the vibrate

I have the D500 and I use it on the Cingular network in the US. The phone is great, but the only complaint I have is that I can't access the Internet or send or recieve text messages on this system. Does anyone know if there is anyway to reprogram the phone so that I can use it on the Cingular Network. Also, I sometimes have problems connecting to other handsets with Bluetooth, for example, I can connect with my old Motorola V600, but was unable to connect with the new MPx220 from Motorola, and also had problems connecting with the Blackberry. It will allow us to connect but when trying to send info it says connection failed. Anyone have any suggestions to what I can do, if so, please email me at shdylakr97@yahoo.com. My main concern is being able to connect to the Internet or send or recieve text...if anyone has any info, please email me, thanks!
