hi
my phone was stolen last week and i got a new one yesterday. i put the sim card in (im on o2) then i charged it up until the battery was full.
when i turned it on a samsung logo thing came up but on my old phone an o2 1 came up. i tried sending a txt but it doesnt let me. it just says limited service on it. i cant call any1 apart from emergancy numbers. is there anyting i need 2 do 2 the sim card???

Theres nothin perfect in this world....so do d500...bt i think d500 is one of da most perfect fon ever made=D no regrets gettin this fon=)

I've had my D500 for about 6 weeks and I'm disappointed in it !!! - in sms it doesn't auto capitalise after a full stop; although it has a large screen the actual picture size is no different than my Nokia 6230; it won't ring and vibrate at the same time; the bluetooth is a pain with my Nokia car kit and it goes to answerfone after 12 seconds of ringing (but I think that's a T-Mobile issue.
But it's a very good looking piece of equipment, especially in black.

hey everyone, just got the d5oo and really love it, the only problem is i cant seem to set the email settings correctly, and am getting really confused with it, i tryed and now"email network failed" keeps appearing on the screen its sooo irritating can anyone help pllleeeaaassssee!!!

How much does it stay in standby, if you play mp3's a little, foolaround with the cam, and rarerly record, and talk ocassionally? :) I've recharched it on sunday night, and today i had pnly a "line" in the battery display....and it has gone only 35 hours. :(

I bought a bluetooth dongle which you can use to convert your pc to bluetooth. You then swap mp3(and other) files to your d500 via the bluetooth. No probs. Much easier than using the cable. Hope this helps.

Does anyone think that the black d500 is for the guys and the silver d500 is for the girls. or are they both a guys fone coz it bigger than e800

Initial impression: excellent phone. Small, well designed in and out, good camera. HOWEVER: 2 features are unacceptable: 1) the phone CANNOT be used with a Palm PDA (despite bluetooth)as a modem. MAJOR letdown.
2) browser wont allow bookmarking of current pages. So it can take you 10s of clicks to find that e.g. phone directory page and then you cannot even bookmark it! better get your pen ready and start WRITING down the Wap address by hand. Sucks.

i heard this phone has no memorystick options so you are stuck with 96mb max on it is this true? if this is what future does this phone hold as most phones have a memory stick option to upgrade. :S
