hmmm... I am really really getting confused now! my frien has a 7610 (screen display 176x208) , and thats really big! but this phone has 176x220! when i put them next to each other, d500's screen was tiny next to 7610! it was same size as my t610 screen! (128x160!). and the camera wasn't soo sharp! it has way too many dots around it! And also the fact it only has room for 4mb of games!!!! Not so much of a ground breaker now is it?

D500 really great mobile , its really good job by SAMSUNG and m really happy to use this model , that only comment here the NAMES/NUMBERS copy option ! easy to copy from SIM to PHONE but hard to get that back copy all NAMES/NUMBERS to SIM once again ! rest all perfect options and use as well ! i know that we can re copy to SIM via PC but this still hard !! hey all! d500 is a great phone, but i've just got one prob.. when i put a morning call (alarm) on, i cant turn it off. any button i press just snoozes and then it goes off ahain in 5 minutes. when i go to the alarm menu it says the morning call is switched off, so any ideas of what to do.

All of the Asia Pacific region has Black. Silver is a limited version to certain countries.

cecilia... the only way you can copy all of your numbers from phone to sim is to use the pc suite which is what i did. Otherwise it will take ages if you have lots of numbers to copy over one at a time like i do. I hope this helps you out.

For all you D500 users that complain that when they are writing an sms and you close the slide it stores the message or loose the message you have written. Do the following as i have.
Go to settings, then phone settings, then slide settings. Then select for up none and down continue operation.
If you have for down stop operation you will loose call or sms. Where as if you have continue operation you can slide the slide down and still talk on the phone. I hope this helps all you other D500 users out there.
I think this is the best phone on the market as it is small and easy to use. Has all the features and a few more that i need.
My battery lasts about 3 days because i am always surfing the net and talking on it as it is my work phone but if i don't surf the net the battery will probably last at least 5 days.

I got the phone a month ago on Orange. ITS AN AMAZING PHONE!! I agree with the opinions I have read. You have all the functions you need and to personalise your phone with an mp3 ringtone is brilliant!! RAMMSTEIN NEVER SOUNDED BETTER!!!! well done samsung for producing another EXCELLENT mobile phone.

I´m about to buy the Samsung D500, but something is stoping me... alltough the over overalle opinions here about the phone are excellent, the phrase in gsmarena.com - stability (phone being restarted by itself several times) - scares me... what does that mean and have anyone experienced that??

i just got the phone today and i have fallen in love with it.
i have read all the messages other people have sennt and in the manual it says that the battery should last up 2 a week long!!!!
it is a quality phone!!!!!!!!
i reccomend this four all you people looking for a new phone!!!!

i just got this phone today and it rocks! just a few questions.
where can i find the games? and which ones are they? also, i locked the phone and now i can't get back in! the manual says that the default "puk" [personal unlocking code] # is "00000000" but my simcard says the default is "8888" but i tried and its to short. and i've tried it 3 times so the only thing i can do on my phone is call the "SOS" which is basically the police office...
i might be able to go to the place where i got my simcard [since someone told me u can get them to fix it] but does anyone else know how to fix this and has it happened to anyone else? even with any other phones?

How long do other peoples battery last? Mine only seems to last 3 days. But then again i am surfing the net hours on end and taking photos alot.

this is by far the best mobile phone i have EVER owned. it has such a sharp screen it is unreal.
i have been a nokia man all my life - not anymore. anyone looking at new phones should get this little baby.

i love the samsung d500 phone.
i think it is great.
i have had a phone like this before and it has all the good gear.
i bought and every1 i know lovews it.
i would reccomend it to any one i know.
go and buy it!!!!!
