The D500 is great and has a hell of lot to offer and a vast amount of accesories only adding to its value. But b4 buying it think of how u would have faired with a Nokia 7710? A Siemens SK65? A Motorola E1000(with 3G)?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Just remember that this phone doesnt come pre-configured. YOu will need to get settings for this phone to be able to send and receive picture/video messages. I work for a well known mobile phone company. Hope this helps especially Igor...

This phone rocks!!
I sent my Sony K700i back as it was a pain to use and slow to navigate although it was put together well.
The D500 is so simple to use, quick, classy looking and has enough toys to keep me happy. The plug in speaker isn't great but the standard speaker is more than loud enough. My only problem is when you send a txt it doesn't default to the phonebook list of names etc. If anyone knows how to change this I would really appreciate your help.

An even bigger screen means an even bigger phone! Im OK with the size of the D500, very compact and stylish. The screen size itself is not too bad. All in all its top class!

This.is.not.the i thought.very basic and so on.its shame that u r not able 2 v a tone 4 ur msg which u like and very poor alarm and so on.my advice dnt even try with samsung.thanx.i.v.and.i.wish.2.swap.

I'm having trouble when I try sending a short video clip, it arrives to the other phone but it shows as 'unable to open file'. Does anyone know why this is? I am sending from the Samsung D500 and it is going to a Nokia 6230 which is also a video phone. help!

It doesnt refer to them as screensavers. They will just appear in images as .gif files or whatever they are.

hey guyz i have bought d500 and i have almost understood every function of it,but theres one thing which really confuses me that i can c some screen savers for d500 on the websites but i cant c any setting in my mobile regarding screen savers and if i dowload any screen saver how do i apply it to my fone

YES, IT DOES HAVE A VIDEO RECORDER and PLayer. Who keeps suggesting that it doesnt! Some ppl here need to do some research before they post. Look at the review of it o this site, it will answer most of your questions.
