wot to get nokia 7610 or samsung D500 i just cant make my mind up. does it matter much that D500 does not have a video recorder.

ohhh guys!ive got a HUGE problem, ya!So i bouthg this phone ya, but i havent got any idea how to download mp3!may be im stupid or some but I DONT KNOW!please tell me what i can do!please!thx:)

The alarm will work if the phone is off. All you have to do is go to --> menu --> applications --> alarm --> (scroll down to) "autopower" and make sure it is 'on'. The phone's alarm will ring even if the phone is switched off. Its the best phone I've seen in quite a while. KEEP ON ROCKIN SAMSUNG

Just got this phone yesterday. It is awesome. Look at its size and features then compare it to the other phones on the market and you will see that it is truly somethin special. Away with my 6230, its so common and dull now. This phone is the daddy! Samsung have finally made something decent enough for me to get.

I have been in the cell phone industry for a while now, I didn't like the phone at first but I have come to realize that it is an AWESOME phone. Pity we have to wait for a Samsung 3G phone though. D500 defininately top of the range. Good bye NOKIA!!!!

i think you should all stop dissing it! it is the sexiest phone around and beats any other phone on market at the mo! and all other phones ive ever had!-thats not that hard though! no phone is perfect so you shouldnt expect it to be. alot of people would kill to have my fone but they cant afford it!respect the phone man!

yeh bro comin to australian soon. i know this month if next week thats orsm. its 849 outright. but u can get on optus 79 cap for $23 a month. wat i'm doin.

Hello, Ok so im crazy about mobiles and ive had my fair share of crappy and happy ones but this phone has to top the lot, this phone is probably the best phone ive ever purchased!
Its lightweight which is good and its not a brick, thankgod!
So yes the camera takes a little time to focus but look at the picture result u get....
clear as a bell!!

For year SSung's been missing MP3&Bluetooth with their Fones..!!now they've finally made it..!!cannot expect anymore....1.3mpxel camera+video+flash/MP3 ringtones+player/260k screen/small in size/speaker fone/96mb memory/....etc.
Forget about other brands....!!!!who can give you the phone with all the features like the SS D500 with the price tag of LESS THAN US$500.00.
Well done Samsung&keeping up the good works....

eer? why cant the alarms work if your phone is off? even if you batterys dead it'll always save a lil bit for your alarm.so dont be such a smart ars! but as for the D500 is a great phone and any of you winging out there about it, nothing will ever please you you so i dont know why you bother. it make's phone call's don't it!

Hello i have this phone on order and my mate has this great lil phone, id like to say i have played around with his and it seems fine great cam (although the delay is deisgracful) i would advise this phone to anyone. i have read the past msgs about the contest between s700 and the D500, well ARE U MAD jesus look at the size of the S700 it's so big so when it aint flipped open and when u do u could use the dam thing for a satilite lol. The D500 is alot smaller and has a better camera, there is no contest and for you tight ppl out there that moan about STUPID things u are are unbelieveble there is no phone out there that is perfectit is all a scam to make u buy a new phone there neva will be a perfect phone. i'm thinking of buying these phone, but after i read all the forum, it seems like got some problem with it, but i dunno how true was it, juz wanna ask, for S700i and D500, which is better n which one is more reliable n capable, n stable. Which camera is more better to take photo no matter at night or daylights, hope somebody can tell me, thanks../^^

so does the mp3 ringtone play the whole song when someone calls or does the ringtone stop when caller hangs up???????

There is a reason why the alarm do not work when the phone is off. When you are in a aeroplane and and your phone is off and you set the alarm, the signals may cause danger!!! Exelent phone!!! All features very good = Triban, bluetooth etc. Well done Samsung!

Yes alarm is not working when off!! Even My old Motorola E365 had this as a basic feature. But D500 doesnt have that!!
