-Samsungman

I was curious to know about the clarity of the calls. I currently own an e600... and am sad to say the reception of the phone is quite horrid, i don't know whether if its my service (doubtful because I have tested at one location with 4 different nokias and they had impeccable reception.

I've always wanted a small slider... much like the e800 but finally its come out for the 1800 band.

please don't base value on prices. some people use appeal in order to succumb those persons of lesser depth and end up wanting fashion... and usually those persons don't mind spending a little more.

so when it comes down to it... do you want the fashionable (v3) with alloy cover and beautiful keypad...

or is it features that has 96 MB shared memory... approximately 19 times more than the v3.

my question is... how good is a fashionable phone... when you can't have storage to keep your fashionable music, photos, and videos.

The new bluetooth for samsung, kudos to samsung on the d500.

Tanya the d500 is a nice phone but if you want it for real sounds then dont bother the 7610 is better, but if your not bothered about the real player then go for it as the v3 is just the same as the v600 but in a slimmer model

Hi i would just like to ask samsungman why he has warned everyone off the motorola v3. I would just like to remind you that the moto costs £450 - £500 and the d500 is £350 (www.carphonewarehouse.com) There must be a reason that the moto is more expensive The most expensive phone is usually superior. Its like comparing a N1100 to a samsung e800 u obviously know which one is more expensive and better. The moto only give the UK 30,00 razrs, thats bound to bump up the desirability of the phone and also who could decline those sexy looks? think again people...

the camera is excellant but does not support real music through bluetooth which is a shame really and i dont think it can hold real tones either, i would go for the nokia series 7610 upwards as they hold everyything and has a memory card so you can store loads of stuff, i have a memory card 128mb and have 3 albums on there. But if your not bothered about the music files then go for the D500 still just for the camera

I just bought this phone and i think its amazing. i have switched from nokia phones to this, my first samsung phone.everything about the phone is amazing, apart from the battery life..lasting only 2-3 days with moderate use. in this department it loses to nokia, but in everything else it wins. the camera picture is very sharp and the ringtones are clear. memeory is not a problem due to the easy use of bluetooth. even in dark grey this phone still looks classy. if u are thinking of buying this phone my advice would be do not think...BUY! best phone available at this time. PS AVOID THE MOTOROLA V3

                          Daughter,
                          Push to talk
A one-way communication function in a mobile phone which lets one user at a time talk to another user or a selected user group. Push to talk is activated by pressing the push to talk key or equivalent on the phone. In a user group, the turns to speak are requested by pressing the push to talk key and granted on a first come, first served basis.
In short, push to talk feature is like using walkie talkie.

I just bought one 3 days ago. The phone is everything i would ever wanted to be!!! The only thing i am a bit dissapointed is the BATTERY. Like at my older samsung S300, the batery lasts only 2 days.

                                    um, horbags...,,
you dont need to take the battery off the t100 to charge it! Neither does this d500 require you to do so. If you had to take the batteries out to charge them, then no-one would want the phone!
