the phone is great, feature rich, 1.3MP camera, 262k colour screen, only it seem to have inherite the flaw with samsungs........ shitty batteries, i suppose thats why they supply 2 with every samsung, why do that? why not make a good battery and supply 1.
such a big company, not much sense!

I am pretty happy with this phone, crystal clear bright screen and many many options. Only thing is the battery, it sucks I took mine off the loader this morning nearly 8 hours en 2 short phonecall further the battery was completely empty, this really is a point of discussion..... :(

I think that the new samsung D500 is one of the best new mobiles around. I personally feel that it is way better than the nokia 6230 and the 6230i. i feel this because if nokia are going to build a camera phone with video capture then they should at least improve the quality of the camera. I apoligise if i offend owners of the nokia 6230/6230i but as i have said the camera is rubbish

hey ive heard this rumour too but thats all it is A RUMOUR this phone is fantastic i got mine first day it was on sale had no probs
another thing black is what makes this phone too many silver items silver tv's wer wanted now i am seein many new black lcd

About the 93% returns because of software probs. He must be lying. All phones have some sort of software probs eventually and need to be returned but 93% is a load of bull. They get returns for all phones, so he must be tryin to con you.

dis fone is great, slide up is a good thing but black is a bad thing. basically scratches r more visible n look ugly. samsung can b very disappointin at times BUT this spectacular fone seems very amazin!!!

i have just been told by singlepoint that the D500 is completely unreliable and 93% of phones they've sold have been returned with software problems. Is this right or was he just trying to "sell" me something different.

I wonder when will it be released here in the Philippines? I haven't seen any SGH-D500 in any sm malls. If anyone here knows how much this fone is in d Philippines, please post ur reply. Thanx!^_^
