I'm planning 2 buy this phone but accdg to some celshops that I asked, it's not yet available here in the Philippines... By the way, I read the review. Mostly positive comments. Good job Samsung!

we're not considering smart phones here! i mean mobile phones is particular samsungs always look better and are more compact the only reason motorola have lighter smart phones because they base all their fones on smart fone formats. Samsung dont feel the need to make smart phones so they just keep it simple and small. can you compare the a1000 to d500?

How can you compare E680 with D500. Its like comparing elephant(133 gram) with horse(99gram). Above that they are different category phone.. Cannot be compared!!!

motorolla sucks.samsung is better.espesially d500!!! D500 is also better than the s700i..! Buy this one :)

can any1 tell me weather u get the usb cable to connect the fone to the pc comes wit the fone box if not then would any1 know where u would prob b able to get one in the uk plz reply bac to dis msg as soon as posible

Wine, the d500 is not comparable to e680. e680 runs on Linux software, its basically a smartphone. smartphones are nearly always better. But this phone is extremely good in its category.

Very Lousy phone, store only 200 sms ,cant put many songs cause no mc slot . memory is the most important thing . You cant compare this useless phone to e680 . e680 has everything fm, mc slot, big memory for mp3 and java. What this d500 can do? u got to delete ur old song cause ur memory full .

I have had/tested all the latest phones/pdas and this is a fantastic phone...far better than motorola e650 e680 and any sony ericcson.Believe me i know. but it all depends what you want in your phone at the end of the day!

I have just tried the D-500 and connectivity. It sucks big time. I can not even get my phonebook from win. outlook in the phone and that is a biog problem, because I have over 600 contacts. Lousy bussiness phone!

I just sold my sony ericsson S700i. It was a nice phone, but it was way too big and heavy...I am planning to buy this D500. Does any of you know if you can download MMF files(ringtone file) to this phone using Blu tooth dongle. and if you can download what is the limit on the size of the MMF. Samsung D415 has limit of 40k for MMF files to be transfered...If any one know...PLEASE help me out here.
