hey nim. i got the same problem as u, im not sure which one to get between the 7610 and the D500, but i am swinging my way over to the D500 due to the video player, camera, and i personally think it has a way better design.. but im not entirely sure, the thing is if u come from england where i am from, at the moment the are very hard to get hold of.

any accessorries for the d500? especially a carrying case? i don't usually put my phone in a carrying case but the d500 is so expensive that i wanna take good care of it...it will be my phone for a while..

this phone is kinda stylish... but 1 problem is this phone has no external so the phone have limited mp3 and pictures that u put... comment sucks..

O2 Online asre classes as a different company to O2, and they are useless anyway, why you buying a fone from them!! this fone is lovely, a really nice screen and thank god it has bluetooth, well done Samsung, keep it up.

counted available memory, but there does not seem to be any difference between the D500 and the D500E. The TIM site claims 156MB internal memory, but I think this is wrong - I have about 98MB of memory that I can use, the system would need its own chunk, but I doubt it would need more that 1-2 MB so the only difference is EDGE. This was the only model available here, have not seen another D500 yet :))) .... battery lifetime around 3 days, depending on use. charging time 90 minutes.

JeremY,so D500e is better than D500 just because of the memory? Gee, if that's all i ges D500 will do. Neway, i couldnt find D500e on d net.

wow i see a lot of people hating this phone..o well i guess you can't please everyone..which is good coz if we all liked the d500 then the other makers will go bankrupt..but i agree it's way too pricey for a phone that does not have a memmory slot. but ill just work hard and gain back the money i spent...all in all this is one hell of a holiday for me..

AVOID BUYING THIS PHONE AT ALL CAUSE BECAUSE IT WILL GIVE YOU SIDE EFFECTS!
1. severe drooling
2. if you're a guy, you'll giggle like a girl.
3. all of a sudden you are so nice, calling, texting people non stop.
4. you can't do anything else (leave the house, eat, sh*t)
5. lastly, it leaves you flat broke if you buy this sim free and unbranded!

damn guys what is wrong with o2 online, the phone went live on their website for like 2 hours, i ordered it and they said i would have it before x-mas, the next day i was told that it is out of stock and i mite only get it on 7 jan 2005. i think o2 have let alot of good people down , i am very dissapointed in the way they handle things,

The new Samsung E720 will be announced in January and released in March. It looks just like the E700 and E710, has the same features as the D500 but a slightly smaller memory (88.5mb) STILL NO EXPANDABLE MEMORY SLOT!!! Should cost aroun 350 euros

i hope i`ll buy one soon...
i cant find other way...:(maybe i could borrow one from someone...

7610 an enormous phone. It also costs more than the D500, at least from Malta, where I come form by some 80 euro. D500 much cooler phone - pity it does not support UMTS (3G) - would have been a blast

im not sure wot fone to get dis xmas i narrowed it down to the samsung d500 and the nokia 7610 the thing dat puts me down in buyin dis fone is the price its way too much im jus sayin weather its worth dat much money to buy it and weather any1 could tell me wot one to get out of the two samsung d500 or the nokia 7610
