Angelos - I haven't got that far yet. It doesn't come with any software, but I do know you can download software from the Net to your computer. I think its mainly for image editing though.... not totally sure to be honest. My main target is to get some funky MP3s sent to it by web download or bluetooth transfer.

Bought the phone in Jersey (UK). Had to buy it sim-free which cost £315 which is better than on-line costs.

Bought the D500 on Wednesday - tiny bit biger than my old E600, but very good! The MP3s can be used as ringtones, in response to somebody's question. The Bluetooth works the same as sony ericcson phones - nice and simple to setup. The phone rings and vibrates at the same time, and the volume of the tones is good - the mini speaker that comes with the phone is cool for playing the MP3s with. Getting my phone on orange in a day or two as an unprgrade for £50. Can't wait its a top phone!!!

does anyone who have this phone already actually tested the video functionality?? i heard you can record up to 1 hr is that true?? if so, is that one time recording or you can have video clips that last one hour each???

i agree that samsung are the same quality as sony ericsson. i tried both phones out and they didnt match the quality provided by the sharps. i honestly think that the sammy d500 is a great phone bu t i think i might wait for the sammy s2300 as it has avi and mpeg video recording features which is much better than than the d500.

OMG!! I am so annoyed!! I went up to Merry Hill tody to buy a D500 from the o2 shop and they haven't had any in yet :O! i am REALLY not amused! i now have 2 w8 until goddamn MONDAY now :( until then i have to suffer a stupid pay as you go nokia 7250i which i h8 and only had for 3 months with only 18p credit! GODDAMN YOU 02!! All this w8ing is making me annoyed!! I WANT IT NOW!!
