Can sombody please tell me what actually comes in the box. Like does it come with a data cable? or is that an extra? Thank-You in advance

I had this phone for 2 years now and I’m disgusted with posts from some people here.
Let me debunk some misconception
- Slider does not jam it never did and it will not, but if you keep your phone in mud and dirt then probably will jam
- Battery still holds charge for 5-6 days
- Java Apps as with all phones some work some don’t
- You don’t need USB cable to connect to PC use bluetooth it works
- I do not pay special attention to screen it is in my pocket with keys and coins and it fallen couple of times from my shirt pocket and screen still does not have any noticeable scratches
- It is very good phone probably the best I ever had is still feels strong and sturdy as it was 2 years ago.
Like all phones there is also some bad points to it but you hardly notice them after a while.

i just bought the phone recently because i think that it is a nice phone.. well, i have some encounters w/ the cd that comes with it. i installed it like a million times and still it says (when i connect the phone to my pc thru usb) that there is like an error. im not sure now if there's something wrong w/ the cd, my computer, my phone or the usb itself.
please please help me. i want to upload my mp3s and pics to the phone and as of now.. .the phone is dull as it is when i first bought it.
can someone please please help me. it will be very much appreciated.

NO, NO, NO - you can't change the message/txt tones to your own. It's got them preset. You can only choose from those. The same is true for the alarm clock, can't change the alarm tone except for the pre-set ones unlike with Nokia phones. These are my major complaints on this D500: 1) Txt and alarm tones are pre-set 2) can't receive picture messages from other brand phones - it always says "incompatible message".

when i phone or send a sms, when i delete it it goes to a store box... how can i permantly delete what i sms or a number pls

I have owned this phone for while now. this has to be one of the best phone i have had apart from the sony w800i i have. brilliant phone the d500. love it to bits

can you use your own text ringtones?
for example i have on my se a text alert that says "u got a txt u dirty sl*g" but my se wont play it when i get a text, does this phone let you use your own ringtones for texts?

ive had this phone for just about 12 months now and i may say that for using this phone for 8 months i was proud of it but then it became very faulty, as my batterys life kept dieing on me, i would have to atleast charge it every 2nd or 1st day without the use of my phone. Then i stop recieving calls - The problem was not my sim it was the actual phone then i also did not get any sms and sometimes they wont send, but mainly the worst issue ive had with this phone was the calls, usually if somebody rang me atleast 3 times i wont recieve it and it will only say "you have one missed call", i could not fix this problem cause of all the damages to it, although this phone was pretty good at the time, i thought hay this is 8 months and its not have given me any majour problems but now ive had to buy the new samsung z510 and im having difficulties finding the message tone. Oh and also about this Samsung D500 the camera quality is craptacular the new samsung z510 impressed me with the photo quality.

Yo guy, The SAMSUNG D500 is very smart phone!Im very proud 4 it.I use it till a year.It gave no problem,no disturb.Especially the quality of sound is too good.It can compare with N90.Although its the best set in the world!

Probably one of the best phones made. The design is brilliant, small,stylish, and its got everything you need, Loadsa memory for your mp3's infared, and bluetooth, 10/10 Fantastic!

my sasung sgh d500 says on it when i try to activate my blutooth it seys blutooth activate error and with infered it says infered activate error can sum 1 help me plz
