1. yes the slide will definately last a very long time, mine has and i use it A LOT.
2. yeah, it's deffo worth the money esp as its been out a while and is cheaper now =)

1.does the sliding feature on this phone seem to be strong enuff for rugged usage. any problems?

i got this phone yesterday its just brilliant the cameras perfect not a fault with the phone music quality is wicked samsung done a good job with this phone

I've had this fon 4 5 months now and it is brill people say the mp3 player isn't good well i think it is and the camera is brill i just took summit so i get 400 txts a month for £11.99 insted of £40 which i am very impressed with the only thing i am not so pleased with is the games

a couple of times (on various screens) a thin multicoloured bar has appeared across my screen. also, sometimes my photos in the funbox come up black when i press 'view'. has anybody else had this problem or can anybody recommend me what to do??

I got my Samsung D500 in May 2005. I work for a mobile phone company and get a free phone every year but cause I love this phone so much I have decided not to bother cause I haven't had 1 single problem with it since I got it.
