hi. is the sliding mechanism stable on this phone. i mean does it become faulty after a certain period of usage?

hi. im usualy a flip phone user and want to change to a sliding phone like the d500 or d600. i just want to know wether the sliding mechanism would give problems after usage for about a year? given normal careful handling?

Hey,
i was wondering if anyone can tell me, why the display picture dissapears on my phone??? I bought maybe 4 weeks ago, and it really boggles my mind... Please someone help...

About the usb cable u just need to right click on the item in file manager and then right click the ex get out to the music folder right click get out and then right click the music folder after that the upload sign would have lit up just click it then ur phone will upload it also the phone is great!!!! it has its faults but then no phone is perfect

thanks every one replied, and I did it and got myself d500 , its awsome. the display is really great, also the camera worth it.
but since i'm new to samsung, I'd like to ask about three things:
first how to stop charging from usb cable when using it?
second how to transfer files to and from the phone to the pc via usb?
third when i get a call i only have two options, accept or reject, how can i make it silence without rejecting the call?

this phone is a super phone it has all the features it has every thing you are looking for in a phone i have a samsung d500 my self every one loves the samsung d500 my freinds also have samsung d500's its the most popular phone in the world it won the 2005 gsm awards so do the right thing and get your self a samsung d500 thank you

Hey everyone, could someone please help me :) i have a major problem only recently bought a samsung d500 (awesome phone) and use to be able to send pics mms but now evertime i try and send an mms it always says unknown subscriber.... what does that mean.. seriously going to die if i can't figure out what the problem is. i think the phones awsome.. 2 kudos, you should have a blue tooth adapter for your computer, connect your bluetooth deivce to your usb and turn your bluetooth on on your phone to locate.. its siple, and yes the phones awsome, i took it home to the states after i got it unlocked, and my friends were like this is aWSOME.. IM like yeah i guess they never seen it before

i was a nokia user so would that be a problem?

my display has frozen!!!!! it happened just like that.....it was a 7 months old set. now the only thing i see on my 256K color TFT screen is the backlight :(

Now, this hp is relatively good. BUT I am actually rather upset about my ringtone changing by itself. only to one particular mp3 each time. i have tried to delete that particular song and got my fren to send it again but the same crappy thing happens. it just change back to that song every now n then n it seriously gets on my nerves. That song was actually selected for my caller's id. I am nt sure if its e prob. so now, i have tried to select another song for my caller id n c if it might help. i am doing some trouble-shootin on my end. anyone else facing e same prob?? Pls kindly advise.

totally fab phone it has been the best phone i have ever owned!!! really easy to use and i will noever have a non slide phone again i love it!!!

I have owned a D500 for 12 months on Orange, great phone, no problems at all. Only problem I have now is finding something better to upgrade too.

It would be better if Samsung had made the small lid actually attatched to the phone like they did with the E350. It has tiny rubber hinges so you can just open the lid to charge the phone then pop it back in and no danger of losing it.

I am sick of changing long way for language when key sms, i using model D500C and anyone can tell me how to select text language only english, T9 and number, i hate to keep press button for many chinese input.
maybe my local samsung service center can do?
