I just got my Samsung SGH-D500 and I cannot find the way to cahrge it. Itlooks like it has a lid at the bottom where the cahrger should go in.
Can anybody help?

replying to yiggos message, my samsung d500 keypad is pretty dodgy too, it sometimes won't type a letter at all and i have to press another one before it works.
My question to people is how on earth do i load an mp3 playlist from my computer (itunes) to my samsung mp3 player? please email me if you know....i have already used the usb cable and am stuck on the file manager. The tunes already on my phone mp3 show on screen, but i can't seem to drag and drop the playlist into the filemanager to then upload it or download it.!?

hey hi i would like to get a samsung phone again, considering this one but my friends who have samsung phones complain that the keypad gets insensitive after a while, and the phones arent durable overall.
anyone with similar complaints? or are these isolated cases? thanks lots! (:

i too got the D500 ... i want to help in intalling games on my handset through bluetooth ... also suggest websites where i can find the games.
i do like the set but would recommend few upgrades
1. FM Tuner
2. Expandable Memory
3. Parallel Processing
4. Compatibility with more than one file formats for audio(just MP3 present)and videos(just 3GP present).
5. If possible try to put PTT tech on the next set.

the screen on my samsung d500 has broke. it comes on and off and people can still ring me on it but the screen is just a white light. can anyone help? please e-mail me with any information. nessa_r_123@hotmail.co.uk

Hello everyone, well I first bought my phone March 2005, been using it under t-mobile service in the usa. I like this phone has a lot of features, memory, video, camera, flash. I used it in africa for three months during the summer of 2005 and came back and used it here. Well this is a great phone, so if you considering buying it, go ahead, you will not be waisting your money. The only thing it is missing is fm tuner, and expandible memory. So i'll be upgrading to another phone in a couple of weeks ( nokia n90 or SE w900). Anyway, this is not a cingular or tmobile recognized phone so you will not be able to download anything from them. What i did is transfered songs via USB dongle or just got them from friends via bluetooth and, used them as ringtones. Overall after a year of using this phone, i am satisfied, when i first got it last year, it was a head turner around my way, barelly anybody had it, but a year has passed and tmobile and cingular have come out with similar looking phones, and more people own this phone, mostly foreigners. It is a great buy.

hiya all, just got a d500. i recieved a mms today, but cant get in to open it!!!! when i chose to open it, it states "retrieving mms", then 2 sec later states "cancel retrieving new mms" with a yes and no option. when i press no, it goes back to the mms inbox, and the same happens when i press yes. VERY FRUSTRATING. can somebody please tell me how to open this. i would be very grateful!!! thanks

think its a really good phone has so much extra s and easy to use camera is very good night and day use tones could be better but all round very good phone i wouldnt have another phone by this one

Hi All, i bought this mobile a week ago.i was using NOKIA 3230 phone b4,except sound quality and video recording quality NOKIA was excellent.But in Samsung D500 model i have overcomed this problem.Problem i faced when i transfered from NOKIA to SAMSUNG is that parallel processing .... ie when we are speaking to someone else it was bit hard for us to look for pictures & video which was possible in NOKIA 3230 ..Thank god there was a provision for viewing phone book & message box.
Software problem i faced is that sometimes stored photos cannot be viewed.
Everyone said about the quality of photo was excellent ...i cann't agree with that . Photo quality of NOKIA 3230 is ultimate but the video quality of SAMSUNG D500 is somehow good compared to NOKIA 3230.
I prefer all of u to shift to Sony Ericsson .

how do i add my own picture, animation, or melody for a text message? they have some preset ones, but as i see you can also add them. i just don't know how. please someone help. thank you!
