I just got a D500. The only problem I have thus far is that the key pad does not illuminate. This causes a problem when I wanna make calls in the night :-( without the light.

I have a D500 and I want to tell you that when I bought the data cable for this phone it doesn't work, the fake cable and the original cable doesn't work with this phone, don't lose your money buying a data cable.
for this phone only works the bluetooth system but it's expensive.

i'm currently thinking of buying the D500 but am still not sure. i would like to know the all the negatives and positives involving this phone pls reply soon as i have to make a choice.

hi.i have this phone for 4 months now and i love it.great camera for pictures, crappy for video,great mp3 player and great memory size eaven without memory card.the omly problem i've came across is when i try to call someone from the call lists, the display says i'm calling who i want but it calls another number(not all the time but anoyng enough).so if i was to rate it i'd give a 9 out of 10.can't wait to get my hand on a d 600.

hi there, i have recently purchased the d500 and i am pleased with the phone however having problems connecting to bluetooth, every time i try to connect it comes up with an error message saying bluetooth activate error, this also happens with infared, can anyone plz help to solve this problem wud be great

Q: Does anyone face the problem of the phone cancelling the incoming call within 30sec, even if the caller has yet to cancel the call? Is there any solution to this problem? Can someone kindly pls respond if there is any mtd to prevent this from occuring, as its a very major problem. Thank U!

Locked fones are those which are locked to specific network means u can only use a particular fone with a particular cell fone service like cingular, Vodafone etc
Foor using that set or fone with any other network u have to unlock it with the help ov some software

Hi i was interested in buying the D500, but i wanted to know what does "lock" & "unlocked" means on some sites that i've seen the fone. Also i was curious as to whether the fone would work properly in NY under a cingular service and would i be able to do the usual like use AIM and text with this fone. Can anyone fill me in please?

i have heard a lot about this phone.and mostly i heard that its really sensitive and that it be not working fine if exposed to those things.im planning to buy it but i still have doubts because of the things i heard.please give me some tips or advice.thanks

i bougbt GSM-d500 but this smart phone have one problem:
in organiser menu when you creat a new event for set alarm option you most chek it.but in my d500 this option iz freezed.please guide me.

i know you can get this phone in silver and black i also think you ca get it in grey unless people are getting confused between silver and grey! could anyone tell me wether you can get it in balck,silver or grey? also which is the best colour to have this phone in?

samsung d500 is one of the best phones which i've come across.i've been kepping it with me 4 past 6 months, and til now no problems i've come.the phone has fel down more than 3 or 4 times fom my hand...and its amazing that still it work properly without any fault...its the best user friendly phone which one can buy
