hi people, i have been offered a samsung d500 as i was going to buy hubbie new mobile and friend is selling hers. nearly brand new for £60. ive seen thats it a good phone but want to know if i will be able to put my sim card in it, it o2. can any sim card work in it? thanks

I have a brand new D500. Today I opened the back lid to copy the IMEI number. When I put the lid back and turned the phone on, the screen was white, as if the brightness settings had been changed. The phone is operational (I can make and receive calls), but I can't navigate the menu. Any idea what might have happened? Might be the LCD screen? Does any one know about a trustworthy customers service in Buenos Aires, Argentina? Thanks!

1st: yes it has great mp3 sound quality, and please stop saying that it's better than D600 because it's not.. it's impossible.
2nd: how much is a D500 display because i just cracked mine.. i think my dog tried to eat the phone.. i'm serious. waiting for an e-mail or answer on the webpage :D

I do not believe. I want to copy numbers from phone to SIM card and it is not possible. Can anyone help me, please? It is possible or i have to send every number to another phone?

I'm using Cingular, i dont know how to access the internet from my phone. Does anyone know how to set up a an ISP Profile for cingular?

It's a nice phone but it isn't very smart.If you want a trendy phone it's ok.

This phone looks the part, but it doesnt operate the part! (after 10 months) 2 of the Main buttons are just refusing to work, so I am deciding to get a new phone (Good ole Nokia), but the stupid D500 has no option to copy all contacts to sim card! So I have to do it one-by-one. This phone lack some essential operating features that I miss that my old Nokia had, so well done Samsung on showing me that the only decent phones are Nokias!

I'm having a problem with my samsung SGH-D500. The problem is that i have reset my password on the phone, but i still can't disable my sim lock, if someone knows how to solve this problrm please let me know.

I used mpegable X4 live, u can change videos to 3pg and mp4 which work n the d500.

are u transferring using cable, bluetooth or irda? if yr computer already having irda and bluetooth, just activate them n you can transfer mp3 without samsung software. before transfer u need to pair yr bluetooth, if irda it will be even simpler

There is different software on samsungmobile.com but no explaination on which one is for transfering mp3 to the phone. Does anyone knows ?

just got a D500 but try to use internet and try to download music but it not work. i have cingular carrier. customer service say its not cingular phone so not set up. can anyone help me how? please
