I suggest you dont use limewire as a download programme unless you want to be virused out!! May i suggest a lighter programme imesh, www.imesh.co.uk

You can buy a D-Link bluetooth adapter at Best Buy, Comp USA, or any other computer store. They're priced anywhere between 10 to 20 dollars. Not sure how much they cost anywhere in the world. Tried the way of the USB cable. My PC just views the D600 as another drive for memory. Tried to use it with the PC Studio Suite CD included with the phone. That software is no help at all. Just lets you edit pictures and contacts. Still think the most efficient and quick way in transfering MP3s to any phone is with the beloved bluetooth adapter.

Thanks for the help on the MP3 issue... But where can I buy a bluetooth adaptor/stick for my PC to transfer the songs? Is there no way to do it via the USB cable?

Great Phone... Has anybody else got a problem with dust particles getting inside the screeen? Is the screen supposed to be air tight ?

thank u so much 2 whoever solved my problems. but here i've another 2 quests 2 consult:
(1) how do u expand e capacity in 'add word' in messaging feature? mine keep missing e previous words i stored in. consequently i end up manually rekey e word when nd 2 use e word again.
(2) wat is 'metering exposure' in e cam function? how do i play around w e 3 options given?

Might I add, if you use Itunes for your default library now, don't. I think the only way to transfer songs stored on your Ipod library now is to download Anapod Explorer. That will let you drag and drop songs from Ipod to your PC. Then after drag and dropping, bluetooth transfer those MP3s on your PC to the D600. Hope this solves the Ipod library issue.

You can download actual songs from Limewire. I don't think that ITunes will let you convert songs into MP3s from your ITunes library onto your PC. It won't even let you transfer any songs stored on your Ipod to your PC. If there is, I wouldn't know because I don't use ITunes. I suggest from now on, don't buy any more songs from Itunes anymore. Just download MP3s from Limewire, bluetooth transfer those songs to the D600 or any compatible phone with MP3 or ringtone support. If you want to tranfer those MP3 songs downloaded from Limewire (songs are free being downloaded from Limewire, not .99 like ITunes)to your IPod in the future, use Anapod Explorer. If you have any more detailed questions, give me your email. I gotta leave and do some errands. I'll check this post later.

Is there any way to get the songs from your ipod library onto your phone - to use them as ring tones??? and if so, how???
I'm just looking for the easiest way to use actual songs as my ringtones (i'm totally confused)

I use Limewire for downloading MP3s (www.limewire.com). I have the video Ipod, but instead of using Itunes I use Anapod Explorer (www.anapodexplorer.com). This allows you to just drag and drop mp3s and/or videos from your PC to your Ipod or vice versa from Ipod to PC. I hate dealing with restrictions that ITunes imposes. Same with CDMA phones here in the U.S. I hate being restricted. I love GSM just slipping my SIM card to any unlocked phone possible! Uniqueness is always the key in life.

Thanks American. Whats the best website to use for downloading the MP3's??? I've got an ipod so is there anyway of turning the itunes I've got in my library into mp3's and then going from there???

To transfer MP3 files, I use my PC's bluetooth adapter and let my phone discover my PC through that. Then I bluetooth transfer MP3s from my PC to the D600. All MP3s are placed in the music folder. I only use the MP3s as ringtones. Love that feature! I don't think transfering MP3s with the included USB adapter works. Not for me anyway.

Just got the samsung D600E. How can you download full music songs and use them as a ringtone (just like the 3 already on the handset under 'music' in sound settings menu).
Is there any way you can do this through the USB and your computer?

hi every 1, i have turned the ringing volume up to 5 which is the highest level in thin fone but still when it rings its really low, plus u cant set any other mp3 or acc ringtone to message alert.?????? wots with dat???

i bought the samsung d600 3 days ago with a new sim (t-mobile) and credit of £10,a day later the phone decided to perminatly blok the sim which is really anoying because to open it it is cost £10 which is a waste of money on the sim and phone... plz can someone help meto unblock my sim!!!!
