HELP
i have got a major problem. my mp3 volume from the speakers and from head sets does not go to mute i.e. my phone displays its mute buh actually it is the same level of volume as the last level i.e lvl 1...........hlp me plz

Just got it. Very happy. Simple OS, good features, very good design, and sound clarity is first class! Small enough to drop in a pocket, change the display type to flash versus block mode, and its a handy lil phone to have.

Ok, wat u need to do is when u create a new event on calender, go to ur chosen date, then options and create it under 'schedule' as it allows you better options as to what time u want to be notified, also it has '4' different ringtones u can choose from when the alarm notifies u, i knw its bit SHITE that it only has '4' tones to choose from but what can u do, lets look at the whole picture, the phone is a beuaty, so lets not spoil our likeness for the phone over the calender alert...lol, wat do u say...hope this helps...
Also would anyone knw if the D600 is compatible with SAT NAV, coz i would realy like to get some software and BT reciever for my phone as its realy handy when on the road, id like to have it on my phone rather than having a seperate TOM TOM...anyone got it on their phone??? hw do u go about setting it up on the phone if is is poss..? hw much does it cost..??? Is it user firendly..? hope someones go the answers to these ?'s as im desperate to get the SAT NAV on the phone... Let me knw in ur own time...

I just got this phone. After I put in a calendar event and choose an alarm and then the event time comes, instead of the alarm going off, I get one measly vibrate notification. I made sure that it was not on silent mode. Anyone know how to make it so that the alarm sounds when the calendar event is reached? Much appreciated.

this phone is almost perfect the
Main disadvantages
* no ringtone profiles
* no radio
* no infrared port
hope samsung will fix this problem..
but all i can say of this phone is GREAT STUNNING BEAUTIFULL PHONE!!!

i bought my 1gb here in the philippines.. i dont know f theres in europe.. as long as i got mine here in PHilippines the capital of txt msgng.. hehehehehe

samsung d600 can only support the 3gp and mpeg4 video file. if you want convert your video file such as avi, mpeg, mov and etc to 3gp and mpeg 4.. if you dont have a converter try to search and download it to the net..

At now D600 is one of the best phone's from Samsung. What they do with other phone's is that they are just playing with the Design and the Features.

I always swore by nokia. got the phone a few days and have rated very highly.. The only problem is that the sofware i got along with it is making my computer crash????? Can i get better/up to date software.... And if i can, where do i get it.

Hi.
Just bought this phone. n i think its really awesome...
The only help i need is in making the speakers loud. I read regarding changing configuration of RX audio settings but to what values? can anyone help me out on that?
What are the ideal settings to get maximum volume.

I notice that some of you have 1gb memmory cards for your D600... Where did you get them? I have looked everywhere!.. please help.

To answer Jay's question; You can connect your samsung D600 to the USB port on your computer via the data cable supplied with the phone. Then enable mass storage under USB settings. Your computer automatically recognizes your memory card as a flash drive. You can then copy and paste files from your computer to the memory card as you would do a removeable drive (e.g. flash drive). You do not need any software to do this.
To get to USB settings is through; MENU-SETTINGS-PHONE SETTINGS-USB SETTINGS, THEN SELECT Mass storage. short cut key is; MENU-9-2-6, then select mass storage. I hope this helps you.

guys try this..
buy a MSI bluetooth usb dongle its the easiest way to transfer songs videos etc. to computer to phone... just tried it ryt now and its great!!! damn good.. you can access the internal memmory and the external memmory.. its great!! 100% recomended...

I gat this phone as a gift from my wife. Before this mobile I had Nokia, Lg, and samaung mobiles but this is different. In every aspect it is perfect. I don't think samsung will make better than this phone.

I wonder why I transfered 4 Jpeg into my D600 but it only can read 1 of them directly and able to set as wallpaper...
Can any tell me what is happening?
