Quick question. I just bought the d600 and when i plug in my handsfree, I cannot answer a call by pressing the silver button on the handsfree. I this supposed to be the case?

the best and simple way to transfer song to your phone is to buy a card reader for your micro sd memmory .. its plug and play just copy and past or drug and drop and much faster though than phone to pc..

question guys, help me out. how can i transfer songs from my hard drive to the phone? can i copy and paste or drag using itunes? do i have to change the format? help me out please

samsung can record 1hr video if you set it in normal recording and CIF(352x288) at the video recording settings, and it also depends on your memmory card, if you got 1gb micro sd much better..
In a volume settings:
someone asking if it can damage the speaker? well i conclude that it can damage thats why i put on there ITS YOUR OWN RISK.. :)
speakers can be damge specially on max volume and salmultaneuos use on it.
how to connect phone to the pc:
first and foremost you have to install the samsung studio after installing connect your phone to the computer, let the computer recognized the phone driver and the usb driver of samsung. then select automaticaly install(recomended) leave it until it can search the driver to insatall. after try to opne the samsung studio and you can see on the right buttom that states "phone d600 connected" and thats it your done.. enjoy!!

i was wondering, when im typing an sms with T9 on, if i type the word then forget to change it by pressing 0 at the bottom, then click # to start my next word, can i go back and highlight the previous word, then Change the word to its other possiblities by pressing 0? hopefully this makes sense and u understand what i mean.

Hello everyone,
I have a samsung d600, but after charging the battery a few times I can't charge the phone anymore.
Does anyone know how to open the phone in order to see if there is a damage within the phone.

I was a nokia fan but got feed up with there rubbish cameras so got the SEk750i its camera is superb,i got the D600 now an the cameras not to bad but Samsung should change the Media function on the photos taken,the K750i gives you full screen an options were you can zoom in an fill the screen the D600 lets you zoom in but not on the full screen,next time change it fill the screen Samsung,still a superb phone

thanks for the tip about pressing 1 during video playback allowing full screen. Does anyone know how to view photos in full screen?

Just got the phone, works great so much better then my last motorola v600. The only thing I can't figure out is when I upload pic onto the phone they don't fill the screen. Is it even possible to make them fill the screen or not. Would love to hear from anyone who know about this.

Hi All,
I thought I would compile A list of Shortcuts and tips
Setup Menu and Software Versions
*#1234# = Firmware
*#1111# = Software Version
*#2222# = Hardware Version
*#06# = IMEI
*#8999*8378# = Access Setup Menu (Use at own Risk)
Video playback:
When playing a video press 1 and it switches to Landscape Mode: press 1 again and it rotates 180 degrees
Images & Camera:
When in List use the volume up and down keys as page up and down (usefull when you have a lot of images stored on the phone or the memory card)
Press and hold the side camera button to activate camera directly (pressing it once gives you options to go to Photo or Video). Slider has to be open
When in Camera Mode use the left upper slide button to go to the camera menu (pressing 7 here shows you all the keyboard shortcuts)
• Active EDGE (don't know if it works, but the option does exist):
- Type *#4777*8665#
-Choose GPRS settings (number 6 in menu)
-Finally... Choose EGRPS mode
• Make the external speakers louder (!!use at own risk!!)
Type: *#8999*8378#
- Go to H/W Test - Audio Settings
- 9. IIS Normal
- RX Volume
- and set the values there, the lower volume 10 is, the higher the sound goes (volume 10 is the loudest it'll go)
My level 1 is "49" and I go down untill level 10, which is set at "4"
Don't forget to write down your original settings first.
You'll hear the difference pretty hard.

to LUCY:
you dont need to get a special software to transfer your pictures from pc to phone. just install the smasung sowftware and the samsung usb driver. and your in it.. just copy and paste or drug and drop.. gut it..? enjoy..

Guyss i love this Phone :)...
i have a question if anyone could please help me, earlier whenever i got a call i used to get the full image on my screen, but then i punched the code *#8999*8378# and then change the volume setting what happend after that was wiered though, now whenver i get a call, phone shows me much smaller pic of the caller instead of the full image earlier... so guys please help me here, how to get that full image on the phone when someone calls me....please please please...mail me on: hansomvirus@yahoo.com
