    JK:
I seriously recommend importgsm.com. I got my phone with the lifetimewarranty +always on program. Its a pretty cool program where if anything happens to this baby i can return it to them or something. Plus they honored their price when they posted it for $480 when it first came out. So they are pretty trust worthy, and it's only 450 now. Sooo cheap.

I plan on purchasing this phone online. However, I'm aware there are many scam websites. Can anyone recommend a trusted company whom you've purchased from?

      Thanks

            Haha, sorry 1234... :p

Regarding the battery issue, there is a possibility that there was a battery problem for an early batch. Nothing new though, I have seen this sort of thing happen all the time to many new electronic products. hopefully this is an isolated problem.

Well its now 3hrs past the 3rd day mark, and i suddenly got a battry low warning. Few hours back it was just 1 bar down... I guess the indicator is not really that accurate.

XxDrAg0nxX: got my hopes up, but i know its comming out this month. and the 2gb version is comming out sometime next year.
also 3rd day mark for D600? mines like 2 days for the first bar. I wonder if its my firmware, found out there's some recall on some D600's or something about the battery issue. Not sure if its true or not.

John: Mobile guru and i already gave u 3 alternatives to transfer the music earlier... read backwards. But heres the 4th way: use bluetooth.

1234: Regarding the 1Gb TF, i couldnt find it again... I might have seen it wrongly as mini SD instead of micro.. i will keep looking. The biggest i found is 512. :p

yes do it: check the AT&T website or call them, they should have an auto config. For us here, we just call our service providers and tell them our mobile phone model, and they will send us an auto config SMS which we open to auto setup our phone.

Regarding phone battery, I am 1.5hrs away from the 3rd day mark, and i have just lost 1 bar.

to those complaining about battery life

you should reduce the amount of time spent on
                  :1.taking photo
                  2.vides,playing
                  3.mp3 musics.

this is after all a mobile phone.
how can you mourn about this phone's battery performance if you treat it like you stand alone mp3 player or a digital camera.

my d600 still indicates three bars after 2hours of talking time.
so I wouldn't complain too much with battery performance.

                      Natalie:
Sonice wellness is a set of music noise that suppose to help you relax. Its kinda stupid, but they did some research and it helps i guess. /shrugs.

You cant edit the pictures, just use photoshop resize/crop your images to the phones specifications 240x320 pixels.

                      john:
t-flash is the same as microSD. To transfer to the Memory card:
                      1) use a card reader for the t-flash
                      2) set the phone to mass storage to store to the card.
                      3) use the program Samsung provides to copy to the card

                      To store to the phone
                      1) use bluetooth/usb connection with the program samsung provided to copy your mp3's to the phone

The message tones is one of the drawbacks of the phone(doesnt bother me cause mines always on vibrate), your stuck with the default sms tones of the phone.

Dave: the only way to show the clock is by holding the volume button. Its samsungs way of saving battery. I suggest just pressing anybutton or opening/closing the phone.

Sonny: I agree, T809 should be cheaper, quad/edge band, most of the D600 features.

Eazy E: I + many other ppl wrote the negatives about the phone, just look back at the old posts made here or look at www.howardforums.com i write there too.

Chris: D600 does work with cingular, i have it with cingular. I even saw it on sale at a T-mobile shop.

Hey people, i'm thinking of getting this phone but all i hear are negatives abt batt life and the fact that this dosn't have a wallet function and no this or that. May i please have info on a better phone if avail that has everything that u want. This is an excellent phone that has extreme value for what u'r paying.
My friends are enjoying the functions of this phone more than they did with the N90.
May i please ask if any of u guys have any systems prob with the phone, by means of software or hardware...beside the batt

For you USA Cingular people. I am in the US with Cingular, and this phone DOES NOT WORK with Cingular. I bought this phone and had the exact same problems you describe - no MMS and no WAP connectivity. I talked to Cingular tech support several times, and they were very willing to try and help me set up all the correct setting, but it still failed to work properly. Luckily, I bought from a place that had a 30 day money back guaruntee. If it's not too late for you guys, return the phone.

Too bad it didnt work, because it was a beauty.

Thats wierd... where are u guys from?

Mine came packaged in the box, a Sandisk TF 64mb together with a sandisk TF to SD adapter.

There is also a label on the box that says its included together in the package.

Oh well, even if u guys were shortchanged, a 512mb Dual voltage TF card now costs only like USD35, while a 1gb one costs USD65.

Btw, we can't chose different tones for messages, only those that came with the phone, but now we can chose any ringtone for the alarm function (mp3, poly, etc).
