it would appear o2 sales staff have been told to give people who ring the retnetion dept an "amazing" deal casue of the truble with this phone the complete mess they have made of launching it.
I like other i am sure have been lied to by them and are very unhappy.

I have a feeling the offline sales staff have been told to give anyone who complains an "amazing" deal to keep them from going to another network.
o2 have serioulsly cocked up this phones release and lied to their customers.

Ordered my D600 upgrade yesterday (free f charge) any idea when I'm expected to get this?? Any other customers been told when??

O2 offline now have told me that they have the phones in stock but they are waiting for Marketing to put them on the system. They cannot order the phones till that has happened...
I have poility told them that there are alot of annoyed offline customers wiating to order phones.

Well I ended up getting 200mins and 500texts for £15/mth for 12mths but had to pay £50 for the phone. They wouldn't budge from that and were happy to let me cancel my contract. Seems like it's just who you get to talk to. Also, I ordered the D600 yesterday and when I phoned today to do the cancelling contract blag they had no record of my upgrade order. Am wondering whether they'll tell you anything to get you off the phone, but it's actually all rubbish and none of us will get the phone or these great line rental deals! Mass exodus to vodafone anyone?

Hi,
Does anyone know why you can not connect the D600 to the bluetooth Parrot car kit.
Surely that defeats the purpose of it!

just got off the phone with o2 online
first they said they werent in stock but i no they are so i phoned back again and did the blagg of the century.
said i had been given an offer from vodafone and o2 matched anything i said :)
i got free d600 free bluetooth headset
400 mins and 750 texts for £25 a month
well chuffed

I recieved mine yesterday, got a fantastic deal wiv O2 online, 300 cross network mins and 850 txts for £35 a month. Jst busy charging it up now, jst wundered how long i shud charge it for?

got mine yesterday and loving the sound and picture quality, one thing i'm not liking though is that when the phone is shut it doesnt show the time or if you got any txt on the screen!! or is it just me! been fiddling trying to find the option somewhere but with no luck!
one thing i do like is that u can switch off the operator logo without paying for premium rate downloads!!

My MP3 downloads do not play, i have transferred them via bluetooth from my PC, but the phone does not recognise the format ! can anyone help please ?

My contract expired and i phoned 02 to cancell. They asked me why and i said there too expensive. They then offered me loads of deals for cheap line rental, but keep saying no until the end, then the real deal will come. I got 750mins anytime Xnet + 100 texts for £20 a month PLUS a D600! phone is in the post! Now thats a DEAL!!! Do as i did and you'll be laughing!

Hi everyone,
just rang o2 to cancel, and guess what apparantly they had an email yesterday pm to say d600 is available for upgrade today!
mine is on its way, so feel free to upgrade everybody (unless it was a little white lie of course because i was cancelling) still did the trick and i am getting this phone free of charge!
will post my opinion of this phone on here when i get it

Hi, i upgraded to a d600 today with o2 and basically told them if they didn't give me 12 months half price line rental i was going to give them my 30 days notice.They promptly gave me what i asked for.So just tell them to give you what you want or your off.

got my d600 on friday from cpw, ended up cancellin my o2 contract, was sick of bein messed around with dates. have now got it and its a great phone. I would have been prepared to wait for it with o2 if they hadnt kept messing me around.

This is the best phone available, right now. By far. I owned it for 1 week and it is amazing. The screen is incredible. The reception is great here in USA. I have even used it in Mexico and it works awesome.
By far hands down, the best phone ever.
Samsung it was worth the wait, congratulations.

I'm gonna try that, i have at the moment had £10 a month taken off my tarriff, online 400, but they still said i had to wait. i will ring them tomorrow and cancel my contract, see what happens, i'm fed up of waiting anyway. thanks everyone for posting their experiences, gives us hope

vodafone now have the D600 on there online shop, only problem is it costs £100 for a 12 month contract. £50 on an 18month. Was going to cancel with O2 and go with Voda but i'll have to wait till they bring price down abit 1st!!

just received this handset today, also have the k750i and i am looking forward to seeing which will perform the best! the loser will be going onto EBAY in an effort to regain some money. Is anybody aware of a rough price i should expect for either!
