I agree with you (but dont know you'r name).I'm sure it will cause a stir when released but I don't think it will have the same impact on the market as the D500 did last year. Also people are happy with D500 SE K750i and Nokia 6230i.

I don't think this will be as big as hit as the D500 it is not as far advaced to other phones now unlike the D500 when it was released.The competition is much better now too(NSeries + SE K750). Time will tell, still a vey good phone and it will be interesting to see what will happen on the forum when it gets released!

haha dudes u copmaring SE k750 with this phone.. actually SE k750 is better it can support a 2gb memory card this phone cant.. btw i think SE k750 camera is better than this altho same 2MP.. use this phone compare with SE k750 c the difference ok?

TechSavvy you are really a n**b in mobile phones.Samsung d600 is way better than the S-E K750.Much better screen,quab-band,it comes optinal with EDGE,3d-sound,picselviewer,it has a tv-out,looks great,more internal memory,the camera is weaker,but there are no big diferences in picture quality.if you want quality pictures get a digital camera.
the k750 is a good phone but looks like garbage,crapy brick design.Samsung phones are more user-friendly than the S-E. That S-E menu is .....

No doubt SE K750i is superior. That`s too overwelming for Samsung to compete with such giant. Just now I descovered a panorama feture in the K750i camera and already tried it. It`s amazing:after each of three shots it shows you where you are supposed to place a camera to continue the frame and ultimately after all three shots you have a perfect panorama picture. You don`t even have to pay for the program that`s available to handle such task! WOW!.I know,Iknow this pisses off D600 lovers right now, they think what the heck does this have to do with D600 feedback forum. Relax people-I respect D600 for having a quad-band feature, big screen, small size, picsel viewer...etc. I might switch from K750i to the Samsung D something, whatever will be next after D600 if they catch up with advance tech market and come up with something really superior to K750i. And so far: give me a break!

You *CAN* zoom pictures in the K750i. All you need to do is open the picture, press the horizontal display mode button, then use the volume buttons to zoom in/zoom out.

LOL. No disrespect to the Samsung D600 but..
a) "Having a function to display animated wallpapers in idle mode" is hardly a feature to base phone superiority on is it?
b) the SE K750i infact DOES have a feature to set any animated .GIF as the background image of the phone and it IS animated in idle mode.

First of all do not mislead the lover of D600 with your information. Maybe some are true but not all. You are only basing your facts with review on mobile-review.com which is not accurate at all. For one you can record your voice memo of D600 and all samsung phones during and between calls by pressing option during call and choose menu then go to organizer and then voice memo, from there you can voice your voice memo and it perfectly works. Secondly, what a heck if d600 don't have any focus, it is not a digital still/video cam with a phone but samsung d600 is a phone with digital still/video cam, besides K750i and Nokia's do not have very enjoyable multi-shot function(up to 15 frames/sec)in thier cameras. Also SE and NOKIA do not have the function to display animated wallpapers while the phone is in idle mode.

The main flaw of this phone is that it can`t record phone calls like SE K750i or Nokia 6230i
and it sucks. I have K750i and that feature is very handy-just by pressing one button during conversation I can start recording if it`s some important information to remember. Also the camera doesn`t have autofocus-no comparison with SE K750i. And last but not least whne transfering files in the phone you can`t mark them all like in the computer (also SE K750i) to move them-you have to manage each one by one which is a headache when you have several files. And the way they made a camera in the back with no cover for protection-it`s simply frustrating.

It was at www.telecomskorea.com but now you can't read it anymore for free. You can search for news by going to news.google.com and typing samsung d600 in the search box. I posted the relevant quotes anyway. Getting it on the front cover of Fortune is good PR, but you get many more news hits googling for nokia 6280, motorola v3x, etc.

Doubt any stores have stock yet - I think that is an urban myth.
26th seems to be the earliest but it could just as easily get pushed back again, knowing this handset. I reckon it could even be next month. But let's hope...

I think we can conclude the date in pencil is Monday 26th September.
Lets hope this isn't moved back again though the fact stores are taking stock and its on the official UK samsung site are good signs.
With bated breath we wait!

i just talk to 02 online , and they said that the d600 will re released in oct... also thay did not reveil the price of it for a upgrade.. i know that the k750i ( the closest features to D600) is for 89.99 for upgrade....... i know i want the D600, it looks the best of all the new phones out, and it high spec...
