this is an answer for "eug": The D500 does ring and vibrate at the same time! There are "midi" and "mmf" ringtones that have a vibration track ! The phone has some vibrating ringtones in the "sounds" folder (downloaded sounds).

When I got the D410, the D500 came out very soon. Now that I bought the D500, it's already becoming old news! It really sucks!

i hate my D500 but i would still prefer over this one, this is basically the e630 but with dual speaker, transflash and 2MP. i DONT LIKE POsitioning of camera, how do you take photo. i think i will stick to SE and Nokia. i know a phone when i see one- these are pictures and arent too interesting featurewise- when they come out rivals will also start selling at same time- only other companies release4 info slightly before selling

So do you all recommend me to wait or buy D500. I had been waiting for D500 for 3-4months. Coz it release in Singapore very slow. Now D600is coming. %#%

fair do the rivals to all the new phones from samsung could bre the new SE phones, the 240x320 screen resolution might just settle the rivalry for samsung. BUT as an overall phone for functionality and quality nokia still lead the way, OK they are releasing very few (none handsets) but you have got to remember samsung are producing flash phones withamazing cameras. the only true phone i am impressed with is the i-300. but the menu wont be have as sophisticated as a nokia. i feel samsung are using the fact that they make tvs and cameras into they phones. but they still cant make a MOBILE ohione. i have got a d500 by the way. (not for long though)

Looks like i'd rather wait for the P850 considering I just got the D500. P850 better spec and clamshell so main screen is protected.

DUDE... you say the game has moved on to 3 mega pixel...mate... samsung already released 5mega pixel camera phone long time ago in korea...and 10 mega pixel one is coming up shortly...

samsung is killing SE/nokia/moto.. haha.. but that 5mp camera phone is sorta ugly, I think I'll have to stay with the better looking designs like D500, i300.., wonder if they'll come up with a cam-phone with optical zoom = P

SORRY to burst your bubble, but the game has moved on to 3 MEGA PIXEL! Motorola E1120! MOTO DOES IT AGAIN! BEATS samsung!
d600's direct rival is Sony Ericsson W800/K750 they get one step better than samsung with a radio!

To be honest, people who lately bought the D500 dont worry, this phone is new! By the time it officially comes out probably a year (guess) then you will probably just get a free upgrade! how cool will that be?
Now my comment: nice phone, samsung has always r00led the world!!! lol

you just missed it.. I think D600 isn't that much better than D500 actually. price wise rite now.. I would rather buy the D500.. when the D600 comes out.. it will be more than 900CDN.. D500 will be 400ish with almost the same features.. 0.7mp isn't that big a diff, most people prolly won't notice.. the only good part is that the phone has dual speakers and card slot.. does anyone know if D500 doesn't have dual speakers?? anyways, I really like that i300 = P, looks sorta like SE T610 though.. then again, a lot of phones do...

Does it ring tone & vibrate at the same time? The d500 did not. And does it do voice dial? This looks like a great phone.

Will it have a full-screen video playback, (unlike D500)?
However, then best phone seen on GSMArena, with the new SE K750...
