The SGH-D600 does not support auto-update of Currency... Firmware doesn't support it...

D600 is said to support upto 512MB memory cards... But there are reports of some people successfully using 2GB cards on the D600...

The D600 is a quadband phone. The D600E is a Triband phone with EDGE. Both phones are compatiable in the US. But to use it, frequency settings need to be set as QUADBAND (or TRIBAND for D600E). Go to MENU, SETTINGS, NETWORK SERVICES, BAND SELECTION. Select the appropriate band...

D600 does not support zoom-in of images in memory. The firmware does not support this feature... Also, the D600 usually comes with the TV-OUT cable... There are some countries that do not supply the TV-OUT cable with the phone. Can you tell me what came with your phone when you first bought it? Also, dod you buy it as a new phone?

Usually there is a memory card supplies with the D600. This again depends on the country you are living with. I got my phone with a 128MB card. Other countries you get 256MB... I live in New Zealand and bought my D600 as a import from Indonesia, so I am not exactly sure which country supplies what...

I bought a d600 without a tv out cable. the samsung website says tv out cables come as standard equipment. should i return the phone to where i bought it to get the cable. the fone is 'technically' OK though.

HI I have this phone which by the way i love. On;y question is, will this phone work in the states? it should be a tri band phone if im not mistaken but is the 600 a triband? thanks

This is a very good phone but problems is:none symbian,not compatible phone for example it is hard to install java games&program.messages system is not very good .

Dear D600 Users...
The D600 is a state-of-the-art high-range business mobile phone from Samsung. It is the FIRST phone the have a built in Document Viewer (otherwise known as Picsel Viewer). This allows the user to open .PDF, .doc, .ppt and many other Microsoft Office formats right on the phone... Couple this with the TV-Out feature, and you have a powerful business presentation device! Samsung's new TV-Out feature builds upon Philips' own TV-Out; Samsung allows the user to do everything one can do on the phone: play games via TV, MP3, video etc... Philips only allows video playback... Slide-up mechanism consists of ball bearings and 2 springs, which assist in a VERY smoothe slide system compared with previous attempts of the slider phone... In addition, this phone has a rubber-plastic backing cover, or otherwise known as 'charcoal'.
Please note that water damage can not be fixed unless within 5 minutes of accident. You must submerge the entire phone (waterdamaged contents) into to alcohol (not beer...). This should fix the phone if done correctly and quickly enough...

fantastic fone. video quality is brilliant. better than my husbands camcorder. camera is great, takes good pics. mp3 player brilliant as well, nice and loud. good sturdy fone. easy to text with. all together very good fone. love it. thanx samsung.

this works fine,ensure that the uploader is allowed in your firewall as i found that this was my problem it was blocked by the firewall.bristol boy

bristolboy, would you tell me the procedure for uploading games to the d600? It is not supported through my carrier and I cannot use the wap browser links. Anybody got any ideas how to fix that? Other than that, this is the best phone I have ever owned.

This is 4 kidd kagongo. tv output means u conect it up 2 tv with cable it came with and go 2 tv output and u can see ur videos, pics, and music on tv. mine hasnt worked fr i bought my fone. cud u let me knw if it works 4 u. many thnxs.
