Please help the texting is driving me crazy. How to you turn off the predictive thing. Every time I try to type a name it automaticly chooses something eles. please help

the phone is absolutely great,camera quality is more than adequate...although kinda fidly to get the right setting using the numeric keypad,i love the builtin sound and the earphones that come with it are some of the best i've ever heard on a phone,there are very few things missing from it..the only one i can think of right now is radio..but that's no big deal
i've noticed it has a problem opening large jpegs (500kb+)
also can anyone please tell me how to turn off the camera shutter sound!!!

tried many different brand mobile phones, finally got to SamSung. just got this phone few days ago. just one opinion. "I love it".

oh i forgot... that method is only 4 games... i didn.t tried it 4 other applications!

@Joe Thomas: u cand put games on ure phone... i have now on my phone almost 10 games... here are the steps:
1.plug USB Cable into PC
2.set phone too Java #*536963#
3.Plug the phone into the USB cable
4.Start SoftickPPP
5.Activate SoftickPPP Make sure it detects your phone
and it should say the following if connected, Softick PPP: 1 Device(s) connected PPP is enabled
If it says not connected or no devices connected sellect settings and make sure that the com port is checked.
(May be a different port number on yours the important bit is that it is the one with \Device\ss_mdm0 next to it. Bottom one on image.
Also make sure Primary and secondary ip addresses are different.
6.If you have a connection then Now Use the code:#*5737425# select PPPup and then select USB.
7.start JavaUploader
8.select your JAD . Using this method.
9.then select - Serial Download on the phone
JavaUploader should show - Sending " -------------" then Midlet Empty...then you phone progress bar should start loading too 100% and Java Game will Auto Boot
or ERROR JAVA -> not compatable
to load multiple games i just reload JavaUploader with another JAR/JAD then type #*5737425# (DO NOT CLICK PPP UP again or it will reboot phone) just select Serial Download
after your done type #*536961#
On my phone works... it works very well :)

Its a perfect Phone. Except for no uploading Applications like Games and Programs,but if any 1 has a way for doing this, plz. Reply me.

have been using this phone for almost a year now and havent experienced any problem at all. it's really well made and although it may not seem it's quite robust (I've already dropped mine on the concret and nothing happened). it's not the most featured phone out there but it's got a good balance between style, features, battery life (not bad at all). I'm approaching the end of my contract and wondering whether is worthy to get a newer model, d900 or nokia n73 as I'm not a big fan of SEricsson. i'm quite satisfied with this phone the only thing is that you can't do anything else while listening music.

Great phone. You can set mp3 and just about anything as a ring tone, includig voice recordings. ALso add photos to id so their pic pops up too. GPRS works well with Telstra in Australia.

Respected sir i buy ur this product before 3 days thatis D600 i live in pakistan in city Lahore and using the service of Warid Telecom. my problem is that my GPRS in not workin on D 600 the masage came that system error ? while my sim card is activated of gprs and it works on other phone sets pls reply me and solve my problem

Im thinkin of gettin this phone 4 xmas and am impressed by it's 2mp camera n quad band. But i just want 2 know if there r any real BIG problems with it or does anyone recomend another phone that has a 2mp camera plus, fm radio that works well and is less than £130.00?????? PPLZZZZ SUM1 REPLY!!! :)

Feedback to samsung's technican on 21/11/06 (Wednesday) Technican assured me management will call me. BUT UNTIL TODAY (SAT) NO RESPOND for 3 WORKING Days!!! Is samsung shy to rspond? My queries were
1) Why I cant open the PP file from my D600?
2) I was quoted by the technican that all samsung phones dont support 2gb!! But why some users here confirmed they were using 2gb card and worked fine.
What kind of service samsung provide to their customers???? Think thrice before you buy a samsung product and that is my advice.

Ok i work in a phone shop and our samsung rep came in and did his normal thing. Anyway my sister has a z510 and asked my the question of sms tone can you cahnge it? I played with it for so long couldn't get it to budge anyway-i asked the samsung rep whether you could change this aap file or whatever it is and he said no you cannot convert it its a samsung thing-i got a feeling that its on all modles from 2004 upwards. Hope that helps peopls

I bought this stupid (old model) D600 after reading from all the user comment. It is not that user friendly. Bought 1gb card and download files and MP3s songs.
Call Samsung Careline 18007267864 and spoken to a technican. He told me all samsung phone dont support 2gb (only 1gb included D600) wheras I read from one of the user here who claimed he put in a 2gb microSD and it work wonderful.
Also the the technican told me this phone dont play all the mp3 files from my storage card as the phone int memory is limited. So what is the point of getting a 1gb or 2 gb card? Also pp file not recognised as samsung claims its supported.
Very very disappointed got this phone.
