The phone has some really nice options... i had mine for about 5 months now... Just a few problems with it.. you cant listen to music and do other things on the phone at the same time... and the reception sucks... like its the worst of the worst in reception.. but the camera quality is pretty nice.. and speaker is loud... music quality is good... im selling mine right now for $250 USD

I've had the phone for about a week. Why can't I send or receive pictures? It keeps saying "unknown subscriber."

                to Alex,

As we all know each album list contains 30 songs max so it is very simple, this is how u do it. First choose APPLICATION-MUSIC PLAYER- then the player will open after that press OPTION-OPEN-ALBUM LIST-choose empty ALBUM LIST-OPTION-OPEN-OPTIONS-ADD MUSIC FROM-MEMORY CARD-files in your memory card will open then choose MUSIC or where ever you saved your songs -press center/confirmation button on the navigation keys then song files will be displayed and then highlight ALL so that all songs will be checked or selected then hit ADD. So there you are. Hope you can figure it out.

Hi Everyone & especially who replied to my question 8/6. I had already tried importing from mp3 player the file on my memory card it worked but only up to the 30 track max. The file with my 84 songs is in file manager. I hit the memory card option and there is no way to select the folder as awhole- if I press ok it simlpy plays one of the tracks then stops. If i open it I can see all the tracks & can scroll but none of the options allow me to select them one by one or all at once. So I still can't play my memory card continuously only by physically going from track to track which will darin battery. Anyone help PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

I live in Cyprus and I got a D600 and the battery without even a phonecall can last less than 6 hrs!! I have been told that 1 every 20 D600 have this problem. I give it to repair and the techniciann with his SIM battery last 2 days!! With my SIM only 6 hours. I changed charger and battery and problem may be solve for a few days and again problem. SAMSUNG just released a delux package with 2 batteries & a desktop charger and TransFlash card. Does this means something wrong with the CHARGING or with the SIM in Cyprus? Can someone help please? (I have found several people with this problem so definitely is NOT me!!)

                      to Alex,

Try to select all the mp3 files in your memory card and then add them into the playlist you have created in the phone memory. Once you have done it, the mp3 files in your memory card will not be moved to the phone memory and can be played continously to music player of your phone, it will not effect the phone's memory. This can be done in d820.

Hi everyone I've just got a 1GB memory card and downloaded loads of songs which have transferred ok but into file manager & I can play them back but only one at a time ie it doesn't automatically play next track so they're all there but I can't turn it into a playlist that plays continuously, which I can in applications but that only uses the phone's memory NOT the memory card. Any advice guidance would be gratefully received.

                            To Toffey.
You have some damaged Visual C++ library or you do not have the required one. You may need to reinstall your Windows. Installing Visual Studio will not solve your problem. Tell me what windows are you using?

                            To Kel.
You have to install usb driver and then PC Studio 3. These softwares come with original CD. Try this out and write about it here.

                                Hi,
                                To Gas McCloud:
I have had this phone for about a month now, I play on my phone constantly, and I have to charge it nearly every day, which can be annoying but it has very good features on it compared to the old Nokia 3410 I used to have ! I dont know anything about the other phone that you are comparing it to. hope this has helped you. I would definately recommend the D600, however I have not seen or used the other phone, so I cannot compare equally. Thanks. Kel x

Hi folks, please help me. I've been using this phone for a month now and it's great. I've not been able to use the PC Studio 3 software though. When I try to launch it after installation a dialog box appears with the title, "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library". On the box itself, i get the message:

                                    "Runtime Error!"

                                    and

                                    "Program: C:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung PC Studio 3\Launcher.exe"

                                    "abnormal program termination"

I've got Visual Studio installed on my PC which uses Microsoft Windows 2000, but I get the same problem even after removing the Visual Studio software, and reinstalling the PC Studio 3.

I guess there's something I'm not doing right. Thanks

Which is the better phone. Nokia 6270 or Samsung d600. Have heard negatives about d600 having bad battery, difficult to transfer files. Also is it possible to transfer music to it and use them as ringtones? Does the d600 work well on cingular? How is the call and Ring Volume. Do the speakers work well?
                                      Thanks

HI, I need to choose from the Motorola razor i or this D600.
What i like about the motorola is that i can use my mp3's for mesage alert, is this possible with the d600 or not??
The volume on the ringtones in the d600 can you adjust it? or it's just loud and silent?
                                        And how about the batery?
I know the d600 camera is much better, but the fact for mesage mp3 alert and volume adjust or ringtones,, i don't know HELPPP
