What do you mean by "hacked (moded) firmware"?? will this damage th phone if I install it?? wer do i get it?
Which is the best setting for the camera. I don't understand my manual, its not in english.... Thank you so much again....

I have all the Cingular features working on my Sansung D600 except the Call Forwarding [Call Diverting] feature, which simply will not work......anyone have a solution or a patch ? Anyone using a D600 on Cingular's network and the call diverting feature work? The feature is on my account and set-up correctly on Cingular's network...but it just will not work...I get a "not available" message. I've been to customer service and tech support...no help...ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS ISSUE?

at d600 you can put MP3 instead of polyphonical sounds ! can you ? when you`re phone rings i want to ring with "Get Busy" for example ! is this possible?

There are upgrades for phone's firmware. But they do not expand the capabilities and functions of the phone. Only removing bugs.
To tatizinha.
DO NOT TRY SAMSUNG D500 LOUD SPEAKER. It may damage your phone due to making short circuit.
To Robert.
No, you cannot assign mp3 to message tone. If you upgrade your phone with special hacked firmware you may do it.
To bubbles.
This phone does not support multitasking unless you install hacked (moded) firmware. I see the person's name without problems. It is shown when you see the list of messages in My messages folder or if you have already opened a message, you will see his/her name (number if it is not in phonebook) scrolling at the top of the screen. For the camera you can adjust its settings. See the manual about them.

You have to install apropriate firmware supporting your desired language.

excuse me ! i don`t think i undestood very well the situation ! do you mean that on d600 you can`t put MP3 as a ringtone ? pls answer ! it`s horrible if you can`t.Thank you

Hi i am loving this phone but have just realised there is no loudspeaker option for when on a call and no voice dialling. If i am wrong can someone tell me where these options are on the phone, thanks..

D500 loudspeaker does not work with this phone ... Have tried it :-(

Hi everyone! i just bought a D600 and i can not find my language , i'm from Argentina and when i'm writing a text message the phone only admits Deustch and English ,,, anyone knows how i can get Spanish ,,, i mean if i can download something,,,, please let me know because i'm a little worry .. send me an email if you know how to take care of that ! thanks !!! take care ! bye!0

Hi.... Does this phone support multi-tasking? How? Is it possible to see the name of the person texting you when you get the msg? How? How come my camera takes blurry pictures? How do you zoom in/out pics? Thanks..... hope someone can answer me.... i'm getting really frustrated with this....

Not bad in general...
But one thing to point out is that the phone will delay a bit in the ringotne output part...
Meaning that by the time the ringtone is loud enough for a normal ear to hear,when the phone rings, the ringtone has already started 3 secs ago... so u can't heard whatever is it in the 1st and 2nd second of the ringtone...

To ROBERT - I am not sure as i am new to Samsung but i find the music can play very loud on D600 and is fantsatic quality especially with the stereo speakers that are on the phone.
To TOP DOG - If you have been able to add mp3's as message tones explain how and write a tutorial for us all as I have not been able to do it yet.

I love this fone. I have just upgraded from a V3 Noir to the D600 ( chrome) and find the spec 10x better. I have to disagree on one point others have mentioned. I am able to asign an mp3 as a msg tone. I even recorded a guitar riff from my synth to the fone. Its pukka.......
