am jerry from abj nigeria, its quite good and lets stressful when it come to people with more lines like we have in negeria but its spares should be made readily available, thank for the phone though.

i've used the d880, the sound is too, hopefuly the d780 is better.

I am using this more for more than a month. This phone is indeed a better choice. I have read so many reviews before buying. Thanks for everyone with suggestions and reviews.
I am now happy with this phone. Only trouble i face is i always have to keep the volume to maximun when hearing via phone speaker. Music option is not good but not bad either.
Regarding battery, for me normal talktime of around 2 hours daily in the day and 1 hour of songs in the night, it last 3 full days without draining. so im really satisfied.

hey guys dis phone is great. Ofcourse each phone has its own limitation so u cant expect dis to be ur perfect phone coz ders no such thing. For all of u who are sick and tired of bringing two phones, get dis one like i have it now. You wil love d features too.

This phone has only a phone memory capacity of 200 messages! That's much too less for those who'd like to save different messages. Also, the delivery reports are saved in the inbox, which forces you deleting them all the time; a really annoying job for those who send messages continiously. The buttons are much too stiff too type,making the fingers really hurt.

Samsung D780 does not accept memory card of any kind? i've seen many of D780 with same problem.wot do i do?

I am Using Samsung D780 for last 1 month. It is a great phone...But the only problem is that it has 1000 phone book entry.. and if u want to save more than 1000 contacts u have to save in sim memeory..
So i request Samsung engineers to pls improve memory to unlimited..

awwal, 20 Jan 2009I sent all my contacts from my sony Ericson phone to my sam... more can,t switch mode in samsung than will transfer by sync only u will do it i hope u would get possetive ok dear

To make a call from secondary SIM, u don't have to set it to primary.
This phone is very convenience to use especially when u r using 2 numbers and use them regularly.
