it is a real stylish, slick, modern phone. the on board memory is awesome but the battery life is not so great.i was in such a rush to buy this phone that i soon realize that the d900 came out with 3 mega pixel.ja so my only complaint is that the battery life span is short and that you cant use mp3 as a message tone.other than that its an awesome phone

        TO JONABZ
D820 far better than Nokia6630. You can install so many games and programs from www.getjar.com . D820 has better camera, better MP4 video recorder and player,TV out to wach your videos and documents and listen to your music through louder speskers, message reminder, Mobile tracker which enable you to know the phone number using your phone when it is lost or stolen,SOS message which enable you to ask help when you are in emergency, Answer machine, call recording,Document viewer, 6 alarms which can be set on spicific days of the week. privacy Password on call record - phonebook - massages - images - videos - Music - Sound - other files - Memory card. all these features are lacking on Nokia 6630

had this phone since it was first avail. love it. has its pros and cons. battery life is not so good but i use it a lot. i wish the rings were louder but being able to make any ringtone free is great. small stylish and can take a beating without looking like trash.

I just got the d280 yest, and i was wondering it anyone was SURE that a 2gb card wouldn't work. I read that it wouldn't and wanted to make sure. Also, does anyone remember/know how to have the mp3 player playing in the backround?

                          hi LARA

If the phone's keypad tone setting is greyed out and you can't access its setting, it is because your dialling display is set to QUILL-PEN or STICKY NOTE. Try to set the dialling display setting to NORMAL and you will have access to keypad tone setting again.

It looks a great phone, but is it true you can't personalise the message tone?

its definitely quite good.. with the slim and sleek design and plentiful functions. The only bad point is that the phone only has a 1.3mp camera. But its a good 1.3mp. If you arn't too fussy about picture quality, i think its actually comparable to a 2mp camera.

I must say that its really user friendly. Much friendlier then Nokia symbian operating system.
