Pank: More or less about 200 messages all together (inbox, draft, outbox, sentbox, my folder combined). I got up to 210 message once. It will alert you that the box is full when a text message arrived and the box is about to be full.
Stallema: Might sound stupid, but do not plug in the phone before you install everything. What Windows do you use? D820 is not XP compliance. It will work on XP, but the driver is not digitally signed for XP. Therefore, you have to install everything first, or it will continue trying to find a driver that doesn't exist. Plus, try not to run any other phone managers (Nokia phone manager, Motorola Easy Sync, etc.). Usually, phone managers don't work well with each other.
Vibe: When someone calls, the picture will not be shown full screen, but it will be big enough for you to see. It will take more than half the screen, and there will be the caller's phone number below the picture. But then again, why would you use photo caller ID when you have Video Caller ID? :-D. D820 and D600 basically same phone with different variant. First, they differ in thickness. D820 is more marketed towards fashion phone (and female, but I beg to differ) while D600 is productivity. But as far as the function goes, they pretty much on par. Plus, D820 supports the infamous "vibrate AND ring" while D600 doesn't.
Xiangster: Oopss.. I guess JT needs some more homework to do with his cell phone. Sorry, never used this function, and not available in option when you're on a phone. However, you can just put the call on hold, make another phone call like usual, and then there will be an option to join a conversation. Tada... U'll have conference call.

Conference call is possible in D820. It is known as Multiparty call in the phone.

Well, its not possible to view photo full screen right ?
Other question, when someone call, the photo call is full size ?
D820 its better than D600 ?

BIG PROBLEM! my samsung is not connecting to the PC. i installed samsung PC studio 3 and i got as far as the connection wizzard tells me please connect your phone to the PC using the usb data cable now. this may take a few minutes. 700 seconds have passed already but nottin' happened. PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Ale: You can't text and listen to music at the same time. Phone doesn't allow multi tasking.
Unknown below Jay: You can only make a playlist of up to 30 songs per playlist. You can make up to 4 playlists.
Jay: not quite sure what you meant, but you can not view photos in full screen like when you watch videos in full screen.

This phone is realy nice and have new options that is realy good like SOS (at the massege ) and u can view full screen viedo on the mobile by pressing (( 1 )) when the video is playing

Nice & cute. Caller's pic display size is fantastic.Could have been much liked with address book rather than just a phone book and speakerphone. Surprisingly no provision is made to add web address.

hi! i bought this phone a couple of months back. am quite happy with the functioning, especially the camera. can any of you tell me what software to put onto the phone to make it compatible with softwares designed for phones like nokia? (something like fileman - but the fileman site does not show fileman to be compatible with D820) and also where to get those softwares from? i tried downloading (via bluetooth) a game from nokia 6600 but the file format was unsupported. any help is welcome.

I have the t809, which is the T-Mobile USA branded D820. It is a great phone, very durable and so customizable. It is my understanding that the D820 is much more customizable as T-Mobile USA locks alot of functions out of the t809. A quick tip: you will want to play around with the audio settings by hitting *#8999*8378# as the audio is set very low.

I love this phone and i love samsung cell phones, this cell phone is amazing, i put it music videos with a microsd card and i enjoy watching videos,besides the resolusion cam is very good and design is cool and not heavy so i recomend this cell phone better than motorola v3 or lg chocolate

It looks great! But how about the durability of the phone? Im planning of buying it, but then i having a slight doubt when i was able to hold it because its so slim that it might easily break up. I just want to know if the materials used is strong enough..
