Has anyone experienced overheating with this phone? Say if you use it or listen to music, afterawhile the circuit compartment starts to warm up (lower back of phone)
Is this suppose to be normal? Or a fault?

ive had this phone now for 3 weeks and love it samsungs are the best i sell phones and we dont get many recalls on them compared to nokia and motorola if you want a easy phone to use this is a winner very nice and i would like some games to please

oh yeah and one of the dumbest things:
doesn't let you go back and change the word when texting
(i.e. if you typed "he" and continue typing and don't realize until the end that you made a mistake and wanted to change "he" to "if" - you can't do it, gotta delete the entire word) aiyah

if you're used to a smart phone then do not get this phone for it's features. the design is great but it lacks in function. i used to have nokie 6670 and it got jacked so i bought this one to try a samsung for the first time.
(+) sleek design, great screen, good mp3 player
(-) dumb functions: side volume button on idle changes key volume and not ringer volume (why? who knows...), calendar view doesn't let you preview the events (you need to click on the day and then go through the menu to get back to month view), caller ID pix don't show in outgoing calls, no voice recognition functions
i don't recommend this phone if you're looking for functions but i guess it's my fault i knew it wasn't a smart phone and hoped it could live up to one...

If you want to use MP3s as your ringtones, change the format of your MP3 to 3GP. Like at the end of the song title, change it to .3GP. EX. Young Dro- Shoulder Lean.mp3 = Young Dro- Shoulder Lean.3gp

I got this phone today ... Intially i was all excited to see how sleek the phone is .. After playing with the phone for a while i started missing lot of features ..
1.I want to have a vibration+melody like all other phone allow you do..
2.Does this phone beep if you miss call like Razr? If the screen goes off there it is really hard to get the missed calls?
3. Is there a way to fast switch between vibration and Normal Ring?
4 Is there any way you can use slide the phone with just one hand?

Got a few questions
*Can you assign a picture to a person, so when they call their picture comes up?
*How is the camera in darker areas? One of the reasons I'm kinda leaning toward a E870 is because it has flash.
*How is the texting? Is it easy to text, without cramping your hands?

This phone is a dust collector and the battery sucks so much. I fully charged the phone and use it to listen music for about an hour and battery ran out.

In the dialing display has Quill pen and sticky note mode in which you could not access the keypad tones, meaning these modes have a default keypad tones. In order for you to access the keypad tone, you must only select the normal mode of font type. In the normal mode you can set the font size, font color and background color and most specially the keypad tones.

ok.. u guys have been giving simple guides to turn off the keypad tones...
But that wont work.
I can't even select "keypad tone" in the sound settings.
"Keypad tone" is light grey in color(means cannot be selected).
Any expert know how to solve this problem?
