ive had this phone maybe about 2/3 months when i bought it very good no problems bought memeory car for it work everything was sweet. i then want to put applivcations on it but i cant jave error etc. thanks to the internet i find out and then just 2 days ago my speaker doesnt work. i cant hear calls, cant listen to music mnothing the speaker doesnt work at all.
can any one help is this s general smasung fault and is anyone having the same problems.

This fone is total crap... Although i m samsung lover but this fone has really disappointed me! I hate you sammy i hate you :( I had to sale it on too much loss as the screen gone blank and battery was total crap...

three times i repaired my mobile it is only use fr ladies reparing cost is to much . not made for mens.

i actually liked it.............i liked the metallic body and the style.never really got any time to complain during the month i had it..........it got stolen.

2 weeks after use , the phone display gone blackout.No drop or misuse the phone.Dealer took 3 weeks to solve the issue.Problem is Display Flex issue.Not a user friendly phone.

No doubt the phone is hot, sleek and sophisticated but i believe something should be done about the media player. It cant play videos full screen. Besides i cant get a 2gb micro sd for the phone

i have always had samsung in the past & wish i had of kept to it, i have recently gone back to samsung as i love how easy it is to use its great one of the best there is.

I bought this phone from London but from the day 1 itself I got an issue. Yes the battery does not last for even 12 hours. I have to charge this twice a day which is very frustrating. I changed the battery as well but still the issue remains the same. I am very dissapointed. Can anyone suggest whther you all experience the same issue or else what can I do now?

jasmine, 01 Aug 2008i would like to know about the text messaging outbox its de... morespoke to samsung about this myself, unfortunately the phone only saves messages that you reply to, but there is the option of send only or save and send so you need to select the one you want.

Dissapointed with this phone. only nice looking but with bad features.
can't use format WAV for ringtone. For MP3 only can play shufle if the file store in memory phone.

i am using the mobile model d 840 for the last one year. excellent performance. nice look,very handy,only disadvatage is no fm radio.

i'm facing a problem with the flexi cable. i had two replaced already but it seems the third one is on its way. does this happens often?

I've read several of the comments below and they seem to have similar problems to those of which i have got.I have had my samsung for just over a year and then a couple of months ago the directional keys started to play up and i could not move left or right, since then it has been ok, but then yesterday my screen went white and black in strips and then nothing, when i slid it up i got nothing and the same when i put it back down, i have tried taking out the battery recharging it and allsorts but they seem to have no effect, teh only thing i am now certain of is that i will never be purchesing another samsung item.
