D880 has a better camera but it is a slider so it seems less convenient (at least for me). If I wanted to buy one, I would choose D780. But if you still have doubts, you should read the reviews.

why are there instances that my phone doesnt function? the phone doesnt respond when i press any key (or even if slide it open) except for the upper right button (above the power button), which justs lights the phone. on the lcd, it says, "call SOS?" does this mean my phone hangs? or is my unit defective? or i just have to change a certain setting? but which setting is it? when this happens, i just remove the battery and open the phone again. its kinda irritating coz it happens almost everyday. please give me a feedback. thanks.

My dear D880 users,
well, i am suppose to buy one. but as i have seen the demo, i have got conduced that, can i use both SIMS at a time?? means how can i make calls from both the sims, one after one??is is possible??

Lured by the double sim specification,I changed my K800i and bought a D880.
While the two sims function excellently at the same time, other features of the phone are just awful!
1: The key pad is very very difficult to use in the dark.
2: The phone can't be used for any other purpose except attending an incoming call while an SMS is being sent.
3: While writing SMS, one is not able to insert a vertical space.
4: The phone doesn't support auto configuration of internet settings.
5: Items stored in the phone and memory card can't be viewed simultneously.
I'm regretting my decision but its too late now!

you have an mms problem, check your mms profile setting, some time the mms wap or gprs profile setting is not the same as the default wap or gprs profile of the phone (yes yes, mms can have its own gprs profile), so you will have to change it manually

rey, 17 Nov 2008why I can't format my 4gb memory. Everytime I tried to form... more the D-880 does not support a 4 gb memory card . the max it supports is a 2gb but this information is not mentioned in the book provided with the phone .

Phone is very useful with 2 simcard but battery life is too less.You need atleast 2 spare batteries if you need to use it like nokia.And support from dealer is poor.

absolutely great phone for using dual sim. great talk time and looks. the secondary sim is a bit low on reception/voice output but u gotta be using your primary sim more......overall a great phone.

its a good mobile phone, the only problem that i have with the D880 is the battery is low performance
