its a good mobile phone, the only problem that i have with the D880 is the battery, here in the philippines, they only released the 800mA battery pack but it clearly states in their specification from their site 1200mA. what a false advertisement.

Hi am using samsung D880. Well it is very good with two cheap access. Also i like its camera. But i wonder why samsung did not put flash on it, i wish you did it it could be one of the best phone in the world. but it is a good phone. Am Dr Herbert Kingazi from Arusha Tanzania. I want to buy the phone, so far i havent heard any positve remarks. i am told the phone freezes, it gets jammed.i have a double sim from china works well , prob no memory.

Hi,
I like the D880, because the voice quality is better than D780 but the signal strength is slightly weak, but acceptable.
I used the D780, and now using the D880, the phone is excellent if you need only to make calls and SMS messages other than that is useless, believe me if you are interested to use two sim cards in one handset, this is the best option,

when you change the primary sim on secundary the phone still get a restart(rebot)like d780 dual?

This phone does not work well in the USA and the phone quality for the second SIM where I'm using it now in Asia pacfic is not so good.

This is a cool phone. Works well. Easy and completely business machine. The functions are good, camera, music player, etc.

i am planning to buy this cellphone since this will accomodate 2 simcard at the same time. Im currently using 2 phones , and now, i want to disposed them and buy this samsung d880. please help.. kindly rate this product from 1-10.
is this easy to use? how about the pictures? im addicted to pictures, is this better than my N70? since this is 3MP? how about the sounds? please do help.. thanks

If you need dual SIM then this is the best choice.

The camera is so useless. You have to press the button for at least 2 to 3 seconds before it will capture the picture. By then, your subject would have already moved, thereby blurring the picture. Oh well......

It only holds 2 gig memory cards. My LG, which is several years old, holds 6 gig. I went to SEVERAL Samsung dealers, none could get the phone to work with more than the 2 gig card.

rey, 17 Nov 2008why I can't format my 4gb memory. Everytime I tried to form... moreyour memory card must be faulty, to fix that, use an external card reader, insert the card, format it from there, and then run the command from DOS: chkdsk
this will check the card for any errors and it will correct it as much as possbile
