i bought this in manila, besides english/tagalog, i can only text this cel in simplified chinese (used in mainland china), i want to text in traditional chinese (used by taiwan, hong kong, phil-chinese), is there any software i can download/install or any other way that i can do so? i know this model been selling in taiwan too, so definitely there is a way, but how? someone/anyone please help me.tnx

can both simcards work at the same time or what i mean is can it recieve messages and call in either of the sims

Just after one month black metalis clour peels off, keypad too depressed in body have to press tight,upper thickness to large as compared to lower keys area,unstable sound performace on vibrate. Paid 300$ worth Zero now.
That Sam is renowned for, happen n u600 j900 etc.

Please Help - Both SIMs are enabled but I am only able to receive calls on the SIM with the Primary designation. Calls to the other SIM go stright to voicemail. Please respond to sharonena@hotmail.com

Hi I have the same phone and it is working fine (both sims are active at the same time)for now.
I want to know if any know how to get into the flight mode that is said to exist on the manuel?
And if anyone managed to conferance the calls on different sims?

have a big problem by this mobile, please help me:
when call me, the name and phone number (both of them) show on page.... but i want just shows the name.
i checked all of the menu, but there is no way for that........
please help me.

I want to order this phone because of the dual sim features now I have one question I was on tiger direct where they have the phone at since I get a discount they list this phone as having Wifi b/g is this true or not. Thanks

james, so have you ever used this phone? i bought mine in the philippines too, everything you say is wrong, both sims are active, you can text from either with the press of one dedicated button, no need whatsoever to reboot. if you want to sell the chinese phones thats fine but their build quality is very poor.

MAX, 28 Jul 2008hi eveybody. i am planning to buy D880. i read all the comm... more1. If you would like to change while dial/send message and etc. the phone number. you just select sim 1 or 2.
2. If you would like change the primary phone from sim 1 to sim 2 you need to reboot (only just for preference because if you want call with out select as item #1 above automatically phone will prioritize to primary phone number.

How do you copy files from the pc DIRECTLY to the micro sd card?
I use samsung pc studio3 and by default, it copies in the phone memory.

If the phone keeps rebooting do the following:
remove all simcards. Switch on the phone and type the following code:*2767*3855#
Follow instructions as it will do a total reset of the phone. Make sure never to use the OPTUS simm in the phone again.
