is there anyway to go from J1 to J2?? cause mine is J1 (software) but all the stuff on getjar for this phone is for J2!! can anyone help?

cool so when you switch the phone on you have an option to choose a mode in which no calls can be made? Alos is there a pin lock that can be placed for messages and photos etc?

Yes. The Privacy option is known as Offline Mode on the D900. MENU 9 - 2 - 10

DREW. Go MENU 9 - 3 - 6 - 1 and change Font Type from Theme to Normal, and SAVE. Then you can adjust keytones.

why cant i take off the key pad tones...its greyed out so you cant adjust it. ??

Dear All,
Recently my friend's D908 was being stolen, and he bought a new one recently. However, he found that the new one's software was no longer better than the previous one, one of the shortcome was the photos in memeory card cannot be enlarged/ diminsihed as at E900, D830 by pressing the volume key.
I have told hiom to check the version of the software by pressing *#1234# and the version was J2 which is the most updated version in Hong Kong and Asia. He also complained that the songs inputted to the music list was limited to 30 and the previous one enable him to entered infinitely.
Based on the shortcomings, he sent the phone to the repair centre and was allowed to replace the circuit board and new software installed. But the shortcomings still exist.
As such, I commented that the new versions of D908/D900 were the same as I personally tested new phones in different retail shop. Maybe the new versioned D908/900 had deleted the above-mentioned functions and would be only available for more expensive ones such as Z728.
Remember this flagship phone had been depreciated to HK $2000 for the black one and it is fairly cheap and most people loved to buy it but some stong features were deleted. I am quite disappointed for this.
May others can help me to verify I am true or not.

Hi all!
My initial post on this site was a passionate cry for help on how to install java into D900. I can confidently say all is well. With the help of guys like Rajesh who guided me step by step giving his time and attention, i am installing lots of java softwares on the phone now. Only problem i have now is limited memory space for java. Fellas dont give up on your problems. Post your questions (and findings too). Thumbs up for this site. Many thumbs up for Rajesh. YOU ARE A GREAT GUY.

My D900 came with 7 games but i deleted all the demos leaving only 3 games. This gives me extra memory to install other games. Delete demos and install from getjar.com or other sites.

Your D900 records in mp4 format. Password of Samsung phone is 00000000 by default unless you change it. Its in the manual.

I've used the bluetooth to transfer from/to other phone brands. You can even send multiple items in one go. Some notable brands can't do this.

What about the bluetooth? does it work correctly whit other mobiles phones? or is it only for de headset??
sombody told me its only samsung -samnsug compability.. its than true?

The samsung D900 is gr8 for photo taking [outside at best] calling people [obv] video taking, playing mp3s and texting mates. the only problem i hav with this phone is i dont seem to hav the games that it shood have! I only have the demos and NO FULL GAMES? i go into java world and ther is only three demos and no full games that it shood have, any ideas on why, if it has happend to you or if you no how to fix this, thanks in advance!!
