Well in my opinion only 1 thing sets it back: its battery life. If you use it continuously, the battery will not survive for more than 2 days.
And please, if you compare the video taken by the Samsung is in a much higher resolution (352x288) than the SE K800.

JOCELYN. My understanding of Call Filtering is that you have the ability to filter calls based on who is calling you. You could send calls directly to voicemail or block them entirely.

The D900 does not have this feature.
Personally I can do without it !!

BACKGROUND MUSIC: what all things can we use with the music player 'ON'? Let us summarize:

1.browse the menu, in general 2.view/edit contacts/call log 3.view/create messages 4.use the wap browser 5.view images in downloaded/favourite image folders& memory card 6.view documents using picsel file viewer 7.check memory 8.use calendar/world clock/calculator/convertor/timer/stopwatch 9.use bluetooth to send/recieve ANY file in any folder 10.play java games
          ............and what CANNOT be done?

1.take photos 2.record videos 3.record voice 3.view images in 'my photos' 4.edit images 5.play another sound or music file
          [comments/corrections/additions are welcome :-) ]

I've discovered that from downloaded or favorite images you can view pictures while listening to music, but not from "my photos" section. so i was partially wrong before in my previous comments.

you can't browse pictures while listening to music.the phone freezes when you press the middle cursor button to view the picture.the picture eventually comes up but the music stops.Viewing the menu while music is playing is possible, but not to view pictures. I've tried it myself and it does not work.

Hello everybody... I bought samsung D900 a few days back. Its a nice phone.. I really like its style... there are few questions from the D900 users, kindly let me know if there is any way that I can check my battery status in D900, in percentage.. like in sony ericsson phones I've used earlier. Secondly when not in silent mode.. iss there any way to completely turn off the key press tones of all operations e.g. when locking the keypad etc.
                          waiting for reply, Regards

JOCEYLIN. They're not Meero's comments at all. He copied them word for word from Samsung D900 review (top left on this page ). Worth a look to get the full picture.

                              hi...

i've read Meero's comments n i was wondering, (pardon if my questions seems a little dumb) but
                              1. what does it mean by No Ringing Profiles?
                              2. calls cannot be filtered?
                              3. the finger prints? cant we juz wipe it off the screen?

                              help me here...thanks..

had this phone for bout 2 and 1/2 months and had no problems, however. 1 day upon removing the phone from my back pocket to use it i found the screen cracked. What puzzles me is that the cover of it had no marks or scratches and was still looking new untill i slid the phone up to use it.

                                >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Here is a hint. Never ever put your phone in your back pocket. If you don't know why then I must be posting to a moron.

EMMA: your phone can play music in the background-while you browse through menu, see photos, play games etc etc. so pressing the red button won't stop music. for stopping, you've to press the 'down' arrow when music player is on the screen. (normally you'll get the music player if you press down arrow from main screen).
ok,emma, what did you do? pressed the red button to stop the music player, and you reached the main screen. but what would have been the result, if you had PRESSED THE RED BUTTON ONCE MORE from the main screen? see it yourself-enjoy :-) :-D

Eddie"H" : unfortunately you can't use any other tone than the in-built ones for message alert.

Mdz: to which folder did you try to download the image? to "MY PHOTOS"? you can copy the images only to "DOWNLOADED IMAGES"
