How do you send multimedia messages? Everytime i try i get "unknown subscriber" also i have problems connecting to the internet everytime i try i get an "Error: Network Unavailable". Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey you guys! Im planning to buy a D900 and I'd like to ask those of you who actually own one if the document viewer really works.. like the PPT, DOC, etc. Is the document viewer available right after I buy it or do I need to have applications and stuff? And is it easy to transfer the files from the PC to the phone? Sorry I'm really kind of technology illiterate here.. Thanx so much!

The battery life is very bad on this phone.
You cannot really charge it more than 12 hours because it shows FULL after about 2 hours ....I have tried to let it go all the way dead and recharge it but life is worse than the D600 ....
Suggest everyone go out and buy a spare battery if you are going to travel a lot.

KRISY. This is a wonderful phone. But it is much more than that. It has camera, video, alarm, calender, world clock, calculator, converter,timer, stopwatch, music player, voice recorder, image editor, bluetooth, java, GPRS, fantastic messaging, and probably lots more. I learn something new everyday. The colours on the screen are out of this world, and all this in a slim, ultra light, fantastic looking handset. Mine hasn't cracked or scratched, but there again I do look after it. Who wouldn't. I love it.

Just got the D900 yesterday and it looks like a great phone, far more stylish than the K800i, though I've worried about reports of screens cracking - Still got time to return the phone, though I'm going to contact Samsung Customer Care to find out about any issues - anyone else got any comments on this??

It's a pretty awesome phone with good features. The Vivid Message mode is fairly simple to use. I believe it is activated by default since mine was so.
So far, that's all the text codes we know. More will come, I'm sure.

Umm.. I need a bit of help im thinking of getting a d900. im very close to buying it but thought i would ask here first. I love the thought of vivid text and cant wait to try it Please reply soon and if you have any more vivvid text codes and some more explanition

Wallpapers

If you change from Theme to Wallpaper you can download loads of images from various places.
The screen resolution is 240x320 (QVGA) - so any image you download can be edited to that
size and used as a wallpaper.

Prevent Cracked Screens
------------------------
From what I've seen, the screen seems to crack when the phone becomes too hot - like when its charging. So to try and prevent this, charge the phone in a cool (or cold) room and keep a regular check on the phone's temperature.
To check the temperature of your phone:
type in *#8999*8378# and then go to H/W Test and then to Battery Info and it says Temp :
Try to keep your phone's temperature below 40C. The cooler the better.

To activate Keypad tones:
Go to menu 9-3-6 and change the Dial Display from Theme to Normal.
This means you no longer have the animation of the pen writing the numbers when you dial, but thats no real loss. Then go to Menu 9-4-2 and you should have a number of options for the Keypad tone - I chose "Beep" as it is the softest, you can turn it off from this screen. Be aware that if you go back to 9-3-6 and select Theme again you will loose the tone setting.
Also, as stated in earlier posts, when you unlock the keypad you can use the volume control on the left side of the phone to adjust the key tone volume or turn it off.

Re PC / USB. Did you go through the CD procedure first, and did you put the CD into the right tray (otherwise it doesn't work)

i cant get the usb cable to work, it says to connect the phone to pc via usb cable and it might take a few moments but it seems to take forever!!

VIVID MESSAGING. All these words. What does it all mean? Here's what it's all about. Go to MENU 5 - 5 - 1 - 2. Select ON and SAVE. Go back to Menu and go 5 - 1 SELECT. Type in one of the buzz words kindly provided by Djuka, and then go OPTIONS - 3 . WATCH SCREEN
