Can anyone please tell me how to set up the browser settings for cingular service to work on my Samsung D900 phone in the USA.? I continue to get an error message reading ( unknown host ) whenever I try to connect..

Khalid - whats that you say about the speaker? pushing my ok button tries to connect to the internet but thats probably because its programmed that way. is there another way i can activate the speaker to hear 'hands free'?

hey Adrian - thankyou for the reply about the samsung d900 handsfree. you mean the hands free ONLY works with the headset? thats a very inconvenient limitation and a great disappointment. its so convenient to use hands free for speaker phone conference calls.

Hey there guys!
Does anyone know if the D900 can take a 1GB memory card or is it just 512MB. Also, does this phone play videos or not? I have heard 2 different stories for both of these points so please help me out!

regarding to the speaker you can activate it by holding on ( OK ) button
and about the microSD its up to 512 , the device can not work the 1GB ad i know

Hey guys, just one questions, i keep seeing two slightly different pictures of the d900, one is outlined in grey, while the other is outlined in black, the buttons are also a different color. Why is this? And is the d900 also known as Samsungs Carbon Phone? Thanks guys for your help!

This is the nicest phone i ever had.My phone is only 2 days old.I want to know is it true, that you have to charge your battery 16 hours before
you cant use it.And what happen if you dont.

I activated my Kingston 1 gig memory card by going into settings,reset settings, phone settings and it worked for me leave the card in when you do this.

i just got this phone and it looks a lot better then it does in the pictures. the pics look to me like a d600. overall the phone is amazing and deff worth getting

I cant say i am impressed by this phone as after having it two days the under screen has shattered. very attractive but not practical.

just wondering about the phone security, i heard that you can put a password on your inbox, is this true? and can you set it to just a password for your inbox? also a lock code like a nokia?
last question (trying to decide between this and n73, being a nokia fan) is the battery time really only a few hours? how about if im not an mp3 user as i have an ipod just camera? oh, and camera flash...terrible?

how do i turn off the dictionary? seems like the dictionary can't be deactivated when i text. can anyone help me with this?

FOR ANYONE THAT CAN'T TURN THE KEYPAD TONE OFF/CHANGE IT
if you set your dialling display to anything BUT 'theme', the option to change/disable keypad tones becomes available
this is good if you still want a slide tone, etc. but no keypad tones
if you don't want anything, then by all means use the side keys to turn everything off =]

Handsfree works automatically. When u connect the handsfree headset to the phone...calls will be automatically redirected to your headset..u will only hear the ringing sound in your headset..and u can answer calls or close them just by pressing the button on the headset..without using the mobile phone....that's about whhat u need to know :D
PS AGAIN!!!!!!guys...someone try the original headset that the D900 comes with..and pls tell me if u have bass..i mean....big bass at melodies that have huge bass normally....
