The only thing good about this phone is that it;s slim and trendy. I love the size a lot. But my disappointment is that the tone is not audible enough and also the browser is limited to only wap site.

Also I have tried using it as a modem but it's not registering my Pc on the Network. I wonder if i could get any help here as in how to go about this. Thank you.

                      Hi Guys!
I had problems with low volume of my D900.
I phone SAMSUNG and was told to remove the plastic covering. (I mean the original one that came with the phone covering the screen). I just removed it and the phone is as loud as can be.

I agree with chilloutzero, I tried changing all the settings as stated, and the ringtone volume didn't change at all. I was unable to change the volume during a call and everyone sounded as though they were shouting.

                        Don't bother with these settings!!

i tried typing *#8999*8378# and did all the setting stated , however the only thing i realise that it does is that it only increase the volume of the person talking to you on the phone not the ringtone .. the ringtone is still the same volume as previously ,

using this setting will : leave your volume control when talking on the phone useless , means people are always "shouting" to you on the phone.. nah i have changed back the setting eversince hope this helps.

I'll buy a D900 tomorrow, and a memory card.. the one from Kingston, with 1 GB, is a good choose? Is it compatible? (All MicroSD cards are compatible, or there are some which aren't?) The manufacturer is so important or I can choose other?

PS: Sorry for any gramatical errors. Me brazilian. Me speak portuguese.

this also works to be able to change the keypad tone, too =]

to be able turn OFF keypad tones but keep other tones such as slide tone & power tone ON, you s#need to set the dialling display to 'normal'.

in 'theme', the ability to turn on/off the keypad tone is disabled, hence the need to use the side button & disable all other tones =]
