HI, i'm thinking of getting the d900 but only thing stopping me is that i heard u can only fit a certain number of songs on the phone even with a 2GB memory stick. Please help.
P.S who cares if the battery lasts 3 days just recharge it every night no big deal.

to pYBa,
It is definitely not a samsung you are having. Maybe it is SE or Nokia.

I'm not a heavy phone user and I get 3 days max from the battery life. The software causes conflicts with other software on my PC and there's so few functions that are any use on this phone, it lacks so many that would be of use and has ones that no one needs such as vivid messages?!?! Half the MMS messages I send cannot be read by other phones such as ericsson or nokia. I am now also experiencing the "wobbly slider" mentioned by some people previously. The call quality is laughable and so is the reception.
The camera I had previously thought decent is actually a waste of space when trying to take decent shots outdoors. I could list 101 things I can't stand about this phone.
I think the only thing I now like about this phone is its looks. I wish I hadn't bought it and am currently prepared to spend money in order to replace this thing - put it this way, it won't be a Samsung again!

Hey guys...
I bought the D900 3 days ago and my impressions is that it has a nice style with great features. My only complain is that when you speak with a person, you hardly listen to the voice and if you want to switch it to the speaker, the problem is the same.
I've read other peoples comments and i've noticed that it's not only me with the problem and some of you replied in helping how to improve the "volume problem".Unfortunatelly it didn't. Is there another way to improve the problem without taking off the cover?
Thanks

For GPRS Menu (hidden) type this code *#4777*8665# this will take you to GPRS menu and choose section 5 and then select manual. turn phone off and back on ,GPRS sign is gone.

Thank you v. much sush!!
A phone is a phone and all the extra features are a bonus really.
But if I were to have one major complaint about the d900, its that the features aren't always easy to navigate. I've seldom had to consult instruction manuals for any previous phones, but I don't feel you can easily access what you want with the d900.
Case in point. At a party last night I inadvertently switched my camera to mirror image and upside down!!! (???!?!!) Trying to get it switched back round in capture mode (as opposed to editing the pics after I've saved) is a problem.
On pg 86 of the manual it shows up and down arrows to flip the image and show the mirror view respectively. I assumed these referred to the arrows around the OK/i button. However, just under this it says "Left/Right" for brightness and "Up/Down" for zoom, which is actually what the camera does in capture mode.
So what arrows is the manual referring to in order for me to get the image back the right way round?
(Sorry if this has been covered previously; perhaps there should be individual threads for each topic??)

I have now a Samsung E770, good phone but there is no external speaker so the ringtone/MP3 volume is too soft.
Are the ringtones loud enough in the D900 ?
Cheers

got the d900 yesterday and i have to say its a lovely phone but my one big problem with it is that when i make or receive a call i can barely hear the person even on full volume. it also sounds quite 'tinny'.
does anyone else have this problem??!
