i wondered if the person who had the volume problems got sorted as my son has just got the d900 and has the same problem you cannot hardly hear the phone ring same prob with music.

i find it loud enough, certainly louder than my D500. Just aslong as the plastic face protector is removed or if you want to keep it on, trim it down so the speaker is free

i am struggling to get it to ring loud and mssge volume is low & only getting by by means of vibration as an alert..Its taken ages to sort out memory card & how to transfer over mp3s vids etc & get it in folder & why because it does not have the option to save photos videos etc directly to the memory card???im not used to this fone cause been using symbian devices for years but got this to take out to just take photos vid & play mp3s & now i know why i always choose a smartphone because every option is their.AT moment cant take big vids due to limited internal memory but every other none symbian phone ive used has this option

Does a 2gb micro sd card work in a d900, i have purchased a 2gbmicrosd from mobymemory.com and it says it can work in a d600 but it doesn't and it doesn't work in a d900 whereas my 512mb works in both phones, can it take a 1gb version or do u have to format the card seperately or is it just that samsung have decided the limit as 1gb for d900 and d600, WHAT ARE THE LIMITS FOR BOTH PHONES, thank you in advance, PLEASE REPLY SOON AS IM DYING TO FIND OUT, really annoyed with mobymemory as they said it would work..

Has anyone managed to get this to connect to a bluetooth Nokia car kit, my old 6680 and a motorola rzrv3i connect ok but this d900 cant see the other device (the car kit) but can connect to the other phones, any help would be welcome.

there seems to be lots of options and was wondering if they can do other things apart from increasing earpiece volume.... can it increase ringing volume or allow me to change themes??

Anyone just stuck with the one theme? Just the green landscape and clouds? Apparently if change the timezone to another country it's supposed to be different. But mine doesn't change. Anyone else?
Also anyone know how to goto a certain point in a video clip, instead of just fast-forward?

Hi .. Anyone from MIDDLEEAST Or EGYPT can tell me if he could change the THEME ? it suppose to be Burg Al Arab in UAE , Haram Mosque in KSA and Pyramids in EGYPT , But i got nothing ! just the default one the field with clouds , anyone can help ?
I think some of the phones being sold only come with 1 theme. You are supposed to be able to change the tiemzone, and look at the other themes around the world. But I only have the default one also.
I got my phone with just charger and manual.

"Can you record a conversation on the D900? For being a business phone it's not very good if you can't. Does anyone know how to?"
When you are on a phone call, select options while on the call. Then you select record Conversation. option doesn't appear if you are not on a phone call

Anybody know how to turn the keypad tones off. I've tried to changed it in sound settings but its greyed out and wont let me.

yes u can create folders in the d900 especially if u have a memory card in the fone, i have created folders for music and certain types in the memory card

10000000000% tht code will work cos i tried it, CAN A 2gb microsd work on d900 i got one but it ses not allowed, i hav looked at earlier posts to do a phone reset but that was for a 1gb kingston micro sd card, will it work for this, does anyone know please reply

Here's my problem:
I took a video and managed to take a short one which the phone saved to its internal memory. Anyone know how to get it to record automatically to the micro SD? If it can't do this then it's a major flaw in its design cos it's hardly got a big internal memory!

jus bought D900. i wanna turn off my keypad sound...but unable...wonder if it's norm. i go to setting; then sound; then keypad; but no other window appear...n as such unable to turn off...can anyone, who know it...pls guide me along
