dydx -

Why on earth does it matter that they are still using the same symbol for call take/hang up? It's a nice symbol and would just confuse things otherwise. I don't get what the big deal is. It's just a button.

If you wait a few weeks it'll go down in price. When did the x820 come out (not even a month ago, I think)? It was $450 when it first came out but is already down to $295.

so what? Samsung is pretty consistant on that symbol. among Nokia/Moto/Samsung/SE ...only Nokia has a unique call/hangup buttons. recently Moto is trying out a diffrent sysmbol. and SE? ohh one has to read the manual to know which button to press to recieve a call or hang up.

atleast Samsung is consistant with that. Yes it would help if they can come up with a new symbol for their upcmoing models.I doubt they even thinking of doing so though.

Samsung doesnt seems to learn about the design.. take a look at motorola/nokia/SE phones.. what i wanted to say here is the answer call/hang up button symbol on samsung phones are still from the ice age.. portraying the side view of a phone or whatever on the button.. d900 is a very good high end phone but why samsung, why?

The D900 does have autofocus, it says it right on the back of the phone!

Buy SE W810, or 3Mpix, SE K790. 3Mpix without autofocus is useless. D900 doesn't seem to have.

2 - Set your own personal songs (mp3s) as a text alert
Any help from someone who owns one (feel free to email me) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Oooh I forgot - The d900 needs an option to allow the user to change message tones to PERSONAL ones, and also the option to SAVE SENT MESSAGES!!

This will be a great phone if it improves its messaging properties from the d600. This includes:
Better predictive input: unlike Nokia, once finished a word while messaging, you cannot go back and change the whole word, it only highlights one letter - extremely frustrating if you select the wrong predictive word.
Uses up and down keys: this is a fairly simple option Samsung left out - to scroll up and down, not just left and right when writing a message.
Fixing lag time: self explanitory - when typing a message you experince a
'lag' from when you write a letter and when it appears on the screen.
Larger message memory: new Nokias can hold 400+ messages, the d600 holds a mere 200 odd.

If these factors are changed, and with an improved camera and a slimmer form, this phone looks like a winner.

Hey, I got just back from the store around the corner!

I'm searching for quiete some time now for a new cell-phone and the saleswoman told me that the phone will be in her store until the end of the week, meaning until 9 July 2006!!!!!!!
That would be awsome for me, I really liked the phone! Of course I want to hold it in my hand before I buy it, but I got a really good feeling about it.
By the way I live in Greece, i don't know when it's coming out in other countries...
